Because belonging to a plethora of groups in Steam is hip!

We will be attempting to organize gaming outings and events once again through Steam. Even though my tastes are isolated specifically towards TF2, we'd like to reach out to other groups of gamers for organizing raids, competitions, etc.

The group is once again invite only. Invites will go out shortly after the announcement of the site, and officers will be selected shortly after that.


Just a reminder to those looking for Left 4 Dead Co-Op. There is a public Co-optimus Steam Group (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/co-optimus) that will focus on running and finding people in co-op campaign games. The CoG steam group is more of a general one, and while you can find people co-oping in Left 4 Dead in the CoG group, you'll probably find a few versus game modes as well

I really don't feel like going through everybody in the group one at a time and sending invites out though.

I added like 10 or 20 people, and then if I find that my friends aren't playing, I'll look on the group and add others who are playing at that time.

This way I slowly build up my friends list and it doesn't get too large. I think 99 is the limit for friends.

Yeah, I rely on the natural networking to expose me to new people. If their a friend of a friend I typically end up playing with them at some point and send them an invite for "friendship" though I doubt they'd come over for dinner anytime. :p
