I've never understood why developers ALWAYS feel they need to spice it up, or whatever. I haven't played the full Bourne game yet, but I had a lot of fun in the demo until the awful driving level. Mercs 2 is fun except for the "races", which don't fit into the Mercs world at all. I hated the vehicle sections in Half Life 2.
If I want a driving/vehicular combat game, I have a lot of choices. Mercs 2 really isn't one of them.
