I want to get FF7 for play on my psp. Am I able to download it via PS3 store and transfer it to my psp?

Yes, I'm pretty sure you can. I haven't done it myself, but I know a bunch of people planning on doing that. So unless all of those people are wrong, then, yes, it's possible.

Yep. You can move your save file between the two as well.

I have personally downloaded ff7 on ps3 and transferred it to my psp, so it is absolutely very possible.

I should really learn that replying to things on my phone will often lead to everyone else saying what I was planning to say before I say it =)

so as long is just download it and not install the file i can make the trasnfer via usb conenction with psp?

I'm pretty sure you have to install it. If you hit triangle on the game I think there's a transfer option if you have a PSP connected. It's been a long time since I tried, though, the only PS1 game I've ever bought was Jumping Flash over 2 years ago.

Yes, you install the game as normal, then triangle-click, have your PSP plugged in and in USB connection mode, then select copy. It automatically copies the game file.

I did this with Metal Gear Solid last night, and had the game running on both my PS3 and PSP at the same time.

How did metal gear look on your psp? On that small screen it must look pretty decent even for a PS1 game.

so it turns out my psp memcard is 1gb.. need to get a bigger card before FF7 can go onto it.

So after purchase i can install it to both ps3 and psp? Also , how is MGS?

Yeah, you can install it in both. Just stay on top of your saves. And MGS is MGS.
