Sorry guys. I know we all hate Gamestop, but I had to preorder this a while ago (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/showpost.php?p=284479&postcount=68). I love Forza.

Also, the total of bonus cars in the CE is 10. You get the 5 in the specially tuned and painted pack and 5 more for VIP members only.

Hey, that's nice and all but which European retailer will stock this CE?

Also, wasn't the CE info (minus the retailer) released a few days ago?

I knew and posted (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/showpost.php?p=284479&postcount=68) about this on 6/10. ;)

I thought they originally said that this VIP membership would earn you some unspecified future downloadable content for the game. Guess that was a mistake or no longer true.

A few extra cars, a small USB stick, a 360 theme, and an "I'm Special" badge on the auction house aren't going to get me to part with an extra $20.

I believe you're thinking of the survey pages that were originally leaked describing potential Forza 3 features, and the VIP package. One of the possibilities described for the VIP status was unlimited access to all Forza 3 DLC, a bargain that would be way too good to be true for $20.

So publishers do not hate Gamestop as much as developers? I've always thought it was odd that GS gets flack from the industry yet they get exclusive deals and content.

Well, I don't think much of the special items in here such as the bonus cars can be resold. Very clever.

Because they pay for it.

Used games are good for the industry and they know it. Giving GS all these deals is compensation for ragging on them all the time.
