I'd make a gay joke, but instead I'm going to be honest. I'm somewhat confused. Ever since the big August issue, which happened while I was out of town, things have been...different. I've been going to Evil Avatar for over eight years, but obviously the site isn't the same. I've lurked at PIRI and Immortal Machines, and while both sites are great, I just haven't been able to make a decision as to where I am going to land.

I've also had a lot going on in my offline life, so I haven't been able to follow everything as much as I would like to. I have 25 or so threads bookmarked, but there's little hope of me getting through all of them.

All that being said, I'll see what's going to happen here - it seems like this is going to be the place where everyone ends up, or at least that's the goal, right?

Oh yeah, thanks go out to those who flooded my PM inbox at Evil Avatar. It gives me warm fuzzies to know people care. :D

Don't think of it as moving on. The gangs all here, it seems more like the old site moved on and we stayed in the same place. Just put up a new sign, put a fresh coat of paint and aired out some of the murk.

I used to be a huge cry baby when I was a kid, and I got picked on all the time. Learning to take jokes and teasing in stride was a big breakthrough for me, and I've realized that there's no point in taking that kind of thing personally.
