[E3 09] Scott's Day 2 Report (Vogster) w/Video

Sorry for the lateness of this, Scott was understandably tired after E3 and had to work on Saturday, so he is slowly getting his impressions up. This is one of three so far today and I'm working backwards so that Bethesda shows up at top.

Scott saw the upcoming game CrimeCraft at Vogster's booth and didn't really come out of it very excited by the game as seen below:

You can look at CrimeCraft yourself in the video I shot. I hate to say it, but this isn't a good game, not from what I could see and not when there's APB on the horizon.

Once done I was walking over to find the people at Vogster Games to have a look at CrimeCraft, a game I really knew nothing about. They were all the way over in the back corner of the floor behind a giant wall of Modern Warfare 2. Once there I was asked to wait while they find someone to talk me through the game. I waited, and waited, and waited some more. Now, I tweeted a bit about this and complained, however, I should apologize since I later found out that the entire West Hall had lost their internet connection. Everyone had been dropped. The Uncharted 2 multiplayers, MAG, CrimeCraft, and others had all been kicked back to the lobby.

The problem didn't take long to get fixed and I was back on my way at looking at CrimeCraft, being released in August. You can look at CrimeCraft yourself in the video I shot. I hate to say it, but this isn't a good game, not from what I could see and not when there's APB on the horizon. And I hate to point you to somewhere else, but Joystiq said it very well (http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/03/wanted-for-breaking-the-law-vogsters-crimecraft/). The game doesn't do things right, or at least very well. It's being released on the PC and ONLY being sold retail at Best Buy stores.

The Craft in the title didn't give me much reason to suspect this even becoming good. Clearly trying to hitchhike a bit on the WarCraft ip.
