Just saw Fanboys and it was great. Tons of cameos, and Kristen Bell in a Leia from Jedi costume. Only downside to the bluray is that there is no extras. Hitting the popmenu displays audio options, there is no movie menu.

There are extras on the regular dvd.

It needed more boob.
I wonder if that was really Kristen Bell's ass shown towards the end of the movie?

You'd have thought Star Wars references have been done to death... and they have. Fortunately they understand that and still make a good film out of it. I wouldn't call it laugh-out-loud funny but it was enjoyable throughout.

I enjoyed it as well. The cameos were probably the best parts, though.

My best friend and I watched this last night. We are both die hard Star Wars fans. He's read well over 50 books, and I've just got a database memory.

We didn't stop laughing the whole movie. At least 1/4 of the dialogue is straight from Star Wars. The Tusken Raider at the end sealed it. At the start of the movie one was in the theatre and lifted the Gaffi stick just like in A New Hope. Just a hilarious touch. I don't think we would have liked it as much if we did not have the originals nearly memorized, in addition to stuff outside the movies.

OK, that's just stupid if ya ask me. The idea of Blu-Ray is you're supposed to get more, not less. The suits are supposed to be trying to sell the format to people like me who want to stick with DVD, not reinforce my opinions.
So you pay more for less? The only benefit I would get from this movie is a bigger definition? I'm sorry, but if the people behind Blu-Ray ever want any of my money, crap like this cannot continue.

Yes, I agree.

I loved that one of the George Lucas's questions was "Did William Shatner have anything to do with this?"

Picked this up on netflix. It was ok. Maybe I am not big enough of a fanboy myself to enjoy it.

I think that was what really made me enjoy it, and watching it with a guy who is as big of a fan as I am. Its not the best comedy on it's own, but there are a ton of small touches that show that the writers were huge fans.
