Here's the box art for the "Kollector's Edition" of MK Vs. DC. It's an Alex Ross print.

Also included: ...the Kollector's Edition will come in special packaging and feature an exclusive removable print designed by Ross as well as bonus video content. In addition, John Tobias, co-creator of the Mortal Kombat franchise, returns to sketch a 16-page comic book to be published by DC Comics that chronicles the shocking, universe-shattering events that lead up to the in-game story mode.

That print itself is worth the price of the Kollector's Edition. What's the price anyway?

EDIT: It costs just 10 bucks extra! Sweet!

I think it is only a $10 surcharge. Yep, $69.99
One of the best presents my wife ever gave me was a framed Alex Ross Superman piece from Kingdom Come. I'm not a huge Superman fan, would rather have a Ross Batman piece, but it is still awesome!

I love the art, but their habit of spelling everything with a "K" has always immensely bothered me.

Yep, it gets very old. We aren't in the 90s anymore people.

To be fair, it could be worse. At least it isn't "X-TREME!!".

I want to see more of his work with the MK group. The DC side looks like rehashed work of previous efforts.

Is that man smuggling watermelons in his tank top supposed to be Sonia?
I'm finally having this gigantic Alex Ross lithograph I bought a while back framed. 5 feet tall.

They would have to issue apologies if that were the case.
Small teensy tiny anecdote:
When I was working (briefly) with Ken Levine, I told Ken I knew Alex Ross and was collaborating with him as well. Ken was enthusiastic and wanted Alex's art for the cover of Freedom Force. We had a conference call meet and greet about the cover, and there was talk of even having Alex having a greater part in the development, creating characters and maybe even fleshing more of the world out.
I honestly don't recall what his reason was for not doing it other than being busy with his over-sized books (Shazam at the time), but it's just interesting seeing it come full circle back to this... :D

I... ugh, I don't like it.
But at least it isn't more fucking CG "art" that looks like shit. God I hate CG boxes... give me some art not made in Maya.

Max okay? :D

I like it but then it's like I don't like it that much. Not $10 bucks extra worth. <shrug>

That's crazy! You're crazy.
If I look at too much of his stuff at once it starts to grate on my nerves a little (I guess the paint adds ten pounds), but it's really awesome that they got him to do this for the game.

Why are Sonya Blade's breasts larger than Wonder Womans?

I wouldn't say that. They look about the same, I think it's all in the way they are presented though. Sonya's being held up, and Wonder Woman's kinda sunken in her costume.
