Eurogamer has up an excellent interview with Sony's Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida (http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=257142), where he discusses what PS3 has to offer, how important platform exclusivity is these days and why he thinks Microsoft is finally making inroads in Japan.

Eurogamer: But surely it's better for you if Sony corners more of the market? If Xbox 360 has a bigger share of the pie, and you have less as a result, that's no good for you...

Shuhei Yoshida: If it continues that way forever, it's not a good thing for us. But I'm saying what Microsoft is offering and what we are offering are closer, compared to what other platforms are offering. Because of that commonality, the new games coming out on 360 and PS3 help to get consumers more interested in this generation of gaming.
An excellent interview by someone who sounds like a real-live person instead of a corporate douchebag who spews complete lies. There were a LOT of opportunities for Yoshida to retort with slanderous remarks about the competition as others have, but he does an excellent job of being diplomatic, even-handed, intelligent and fair, even going so far as to compliment the competition with apparent honesty.
