That comic has nothing to do with Randall Munroe or XKCD. HOWEVER, it does pimp Andrew Hussie's MS Paint Adventures (http://www.mspaintadventures.com/), which is mindblowing. It's a bit of a complicated website, but I don't think there's a single webcomic writer/artist who puts in as much effort as Hussie does.
