Me and a friend are gonna be hitting this up in about half an hour.
Anybody care to join us? :D

Maybe when they patch it so multiplayer doesn't have a decent chance of wiping out your save data.

...for this game, or other games as well?

Yeah, when is this patch happening? It's really beginning to bug me (no pun intended).

Does it wipe ALL content on the 360, or just CC saves?

Just CC saves... but there goes levels, weapons, and unlocked characters. Completely fucked.

I haven't touched the multiplayer in this co-op oriented game for that reason alone. Still no patch a month after it launched.

They need to find a way to make it possible to drop-in and drop-out of multiplayer games. They don't appear to change the enemy AI in reaction to the number of players, so I don't understand why this wasn't included at launch.

Don't get me started. I cannot believe that nearly a month and half later we have NOTHING. They have only updated their website a couple of timesin that periods with maybe a whopping total of 7 sentences about the patch.

I posted angry screed about it on their website a few days ago. I'm sure it did no good but it made me feel better.

This is a major disappointment. I love the game, but I will NOT play multi-player online and risk borking my stats/save.

Actually, come to think of it, I found the game a lot of fun for one playthrough and that was it. Great game, well worth the scratch...and I'm done. I guess I personally don't need a patch, but many, many others do. Rightfully so, too.

I find it weird that the game does not actually have a save file, when I transferred it over to my new xbox everything had to be started from scratch. Which is weird considering Braid has its own save file as does all my other XBLA games.

I haven't even played more than a level or two specifically because I was waiting for the patch. I'm sure it is servicable single player, but this is the type of game that was built to be played with friends. I can't see playing through it single player more than once either.

It is really a shame. The game was build, sold, and advertised as a multiplayer game, but the game ruining bug hasn't been fixed for a month after knowing about it. It has really made me lose my faith in Behemoth.

I've been waiting around to buy it because the patch isn't out yet. =/

I seriously contemplated closing this thread because of the angst I feel for there not being a patch for this game. After all the time it was in development, to release it in the form it is in is beyond belief. To not patch it over a month after it has come out is an affront.

I will never purchase another Behemoth game ever again.

As soon as the patch comes out, I will get this but the whole situation is getting out of hand...

Castle Crashers is the biggest disappointment this year so far.

Really?

My only complaint with it is it's price.
Me and my friend both picked it up Thursday night to reinvigorate our lacking coop experiences, and we had a lot of fun.

Haven't made it all the way through, not sure how far it goes, but we're both level 10.

In the sense that it failed to deliver the one aspect touted above all else. The fact that the game is great but unplayable over the internet is simply salt on the wound. Although I'm sure there are other major disappointments that I've looked over but since we're on the subject.

Jeez. I hope that people still want to play it when they do patch it. I've had some really good RL co-op with it, but I'm not going to risk my save.

Update from their website:

With mixed feelings we departed the States last week while Josh, Mike, Emil and Kelly stayed behind to wrap up the title update. We arrived in Tokyo for TGS on Tuesday and the show ends today. When we get back Dan promises to make an update showing all the neat stuff Japanese fans have brought by the booth and given to us.

Over the last five weeks we’ve knocked out the issues with CC and are now verifying the changes to be sure they work as intended. Work is rapidly coming to an end for us and we are prepping the build to be handed off to Microsoft for their test pass and certification. This phase involves total regression testing and can take a few weeks, at which point if any issues are brought up, the process starts anew. We are aware that many of you are unhappy about the wait, but this is how the process works to ensure you get a reliable update. We aren’t allowed to fix and upload one change at a time; all known issues must be addressed with the Title Update.

Thank you to everyone who has pointed out problems with the game, and thank you for your patience and support!

Well, at least that is some more specific info. But it is not very good news. IT means we are looking at AT LEAST two more weeks and that is the most optimistic of possibilities.

Fuck these guys and their incompetence.

I'm sorry, but this is nuts. They think they're done, but Microsoft has a certification process to go through. They made a mistake, but it wasn't a transgression against you.

No other game would get a pass from me for being released and being BROKEN for over TWO MONTHS. These guys don't either. That is an absurd amount of time. And there is a very good chance it will be far longer than two months before we get to play their broken ass game which we all bought.

Just wanted to say we attempted another 4-player last night, and it was unsurprisingly full of misery and fail. :(

On the plus side, I finally beat that @$#$@@ wizard at the end.

On the down side, I couldn't seem to pick up the goddamn sword, so I gotta go back in there again  :o

It's been the most played Arcade title since it launched; there won't be shortage of people to play with.

Again, online multi being borked is major disapointment, it doesn't break the entire game.

You can actually go right back in and fight the last boss, without having to fight those other 3 first. After you beat the game, just go back with the same character and you're good. That's what I did....now onto insane mode.

No, the way it erased my saved game and all my stats breaks the game. I can't trust starting it up again until they fix this shit.

Remember, the EULA says no refunds! It doesn't matter if the product works or not, when MS says no refunds, it's the law!
