Free screen capture software for PC games

I'm in the market for good, free screen capture software, anyone got any suggestions? I can find a bunch with a Google search, but I'd like some recommendations from you guys.

Any ideas?

Edit: Now that I think about it, I think it watermarks the video if you don't pay for it. It depends on what you'd be using it for if that's a problem or not.

Although I am looking at a number of different competing products that will offer free versions in the hopes of someday getting my money, so that's still a market, as it were, and I'm in it.

I'm putting together a gaming blog as a kind of portfolio to back up future job applications and the like. I just figured I'd like to put some video up in the future.

I'd say just invest in Fraps...isn't only 30 or 50 bucks, right? It does really good stuff, and is easy to use. Other than that, for strictly screenshots, I'm lost beyond 'Print Screen' and my old reliable copy of Paint Shop Pro 7 :P

Cam Studio is not bad, though their site, camstudio.org, doesn't seem to want to work at the moment.

I use XFire for screen capture/video. They host all the pictures and videos on their site so there's no "Where do i host this..."
