Start Time: Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 8:00pm
End Time: Friday, September 4, 2009 at 12:00am
Location: SEATTLE ROCK BOTTOM RESTAURANT AND BREWERY.

Gotta be 21 to go
Highlights:
Thanks to the support of TRITTON Technologies, the entirety of the $20 ticket cost will be donated to the CHILD’S PLAY CHARITY. Additionally, as a Thank You to the gaming community for their extensive support, TRITTON will sponsor a premium open bar at the event from 9pm to 11pm.
SadiePepper and I will be there for a little bit, if only for the free booze :)
Edit:
Highlights from last year were
RB2 (before it was officially released)
Rubbing elbows with Industry types (XBox Live, Sarcastic Gamer, GamerChix, Blue skittle)
Copy of Too Human for all attendees
Don't know what's in store for us this year, but I'm sure it'll be good.

Yeah, if there's booze and rock band, there's a screaming AniAko running a muck with a microphone. I might be a little more behaved, the g/f will be there this time around. I didn't kick any babies in the face last year did I?

Sorry, won't be there, will be pub crawling with PA forums people instead.
Odd that it's not at the Tap House this year, since that was right there. It made getting from Von's to the party that simple. To those going, have fun.

Yeah, you should start a thread about that here so people new to PAX have choices with what they want to do with fellow CoGs. I don't know of any other events that Thursday night except the pub crawl and this.
It's not too far from the convention center, still within walking distance, but being right there at the TapHouse was nice

We typically aren't ALL together at all times. But I'm sure a few people will be doing both. I know Rogue is active in the PA forums (only to infiltrate the ranks to colonize it!) You can count on us being at the dinner. I'm picking up 2 extra blue skittle passes in case there are people who change their mind at the last minute.

I'm a PAX noob so I'm gonna need the 411 on all this business. :)
If you can do without the plastic case/case-insert, which is probably in storage somewhere in Coloardo Springs--with the rest of my worldly possessions, I have a perfectly brand new (as in, I haven't even played it since getting it off of someone--Coop, was that you? Maybe it was Nick?) copy of Too Human that I could give you from last year.
Hell, I think I even have the instructions with me here in Greenland (so you may yet be in even better luck)! I just wanted some free schwag last year, and I've honestly heard that the game itself wasn't that great... but it's free. So if there's still an interest in it from someone that attended PAX last year, I'd be fine with regifting the free copy that was regifted to me (from someone who got a free copy last year). Ha ha ha!!

To be honest I don't know. But I'm picking up a couple extra just in case for anyone that doesn't get a chance. If I can that is, I don't know that the limit per person is yet.
I'd say there was close to 100+ people last year, and they've changed venues, so maybe there will be more room.

Bad news. I can't just pick up tickets, they're requiring ticket holders to register, and you have to be on the guest list to be admitted. SO... If you're planning to attend, or think of someone that might want to attend, they have to register and get on the guest list.

I've had Mot ask in IRC a couple times (I can't use IRC from work), but it sounds like nobody has received these elusive tickets yet.

Colony of Gamers,
I just found out that I will not be returning to the U.S. tomorrow (thus also terminating my plans to attend this year's Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle, Washington) and would like to offer up my Blue Skittle ticket to anyone that might be wanting to go and might not have initially purchased one.
Since Psykoboy2 (Scott from In-Game Chat) purchased my ticket for me, and I have yet to pay him for the ticket), I would advise contacting him over purchasing my ticket. I'm sure that it will be an awesome time and that you will have lots of fun.
Thank you very much, and I hope that you all enjoy this year's Penny Arcade Expo.

You're behind the times civil. Violent IS going now. ;)
Wow, this year's PAX is cursed man. First all these people can't go and it turns out violent can go. What's next?

You know, I bumped this thread so I could provide an update on the Blue Skittle tickets and then you bastards had to go and invoke Violent's name.
Damn you all to hell.

Thankfully we do have a very important vacation coming up that should help w/ that stress.

I wouldn't go that far. Sure, there are a few people who can't make it and a few who have had plans change at the last second, but I'm actually really looking forward to PAX and meeting the people that can make it. I'm sure I'll see the others that can't go at a later PAX.
Don't be such a Negative Nancy, civil. :)

I guess you missed the part where I said I wasn't going. Me. Not there. There should be weeping, gnashing of teeth and rending of clothes.

Let me reiterate: I won't be there. You should be so sad you can't even type. WTF is wrong with you?!

Nothing! Maybe that's why I'm not that broken up about it? Maybe you should be the sad one? Missing out on all of the other Coggers that are going? :)
Fuck man :( SadiePepper isn't going to be happy
I read... over in that thread I made.
I think now that I'm almost twenty-four hours removed from canceling all of my plane tickets though, that I'm almost a little better. That's really when it sunk in last night. That, and when I walked by the flight line on the way back from the gym this afternoon.
I had a lot of fun shit planned, you know? Fuck I hate that.
You guys have an awesome time for me, Coop. Seriously. Walk her all around that part of Seattle, and then when she thinks "Okay. Enough already!" walk her around some more.
That was a lot of fun last year, and it's sucking a fat one that I can't go and have to spend next weekend stuck here, being just another warm body on a place that's not meant to be inhabited by man.
I dare not promise anything for next year, but should Scott find himself out there next year (and I'm thinking he may just do both Boston and Seattle, because he's Scott) I'd like to go and make another trip back out to Seattle.

Just got my email about the party. Seems if you gave your ticket to someone else, you have to contact Ooopy and let her know by 9/2 otherwise, that person cannot get in.

I got an email from them today. Thanks again, Civil. Songs will be sung in your honor! Drinks will be drank! Asses slapped!

Glad to see they contacted you UIN. Just my way of giving back to CoG, I s'pose.
Now if you're going to slap asses, make sure Voodoo is on that list eh?
