I used to be a pretty heavy EGM reader back in the day and lost some nostalgia when they went out earlier this year. Now they are coming back (http://www.egmnow.com/press1.html)! More details are going to be released at E3. I am looking forward to having a subscription again next to my Game Informers.

Yes, this can accompany my Game Informer and OXM. I just like the glossies.

I always liked gaming magazines, but I don't really feel they're necessary anymore. Why wait to get a magazine in the mail when you could just check any number of websites?
Do you guys really think that more people are going to be interested in EGM now than before?

Game Informer does quite well for itself. Better than many main stream magazines, that's for sure. Besides, with the way the internet moves from one thing to another, I constantly miss stuff. Articles in magazines also tend to be articles, as opposed to the quicky few paragraphs and links from most internet sites, along more journalistic integrity (note: that doesn't apply to all sites). I also feel I can read a mag at my leisure, and I always know where the articles are, but not so much with online stuff; plus I can take a magazine anywhere.
I don't read them for breaking stories, but I do read them for more in depth stuff that is usually glossed over in favor of quickly putting news out there for more hits. And, depending on how well placed sources are, they can break stuff before the internet gets ahold of it, like Game Informer consistently does. Just a preference, I suppose. :)

Egm is awesome amd I'd love to see it come back. That being said game informer has replace egm as my one and only piece of bathroom reading. So the earliest I would pick it up is after my current subscription expires.

I'm happy for it to come back as long as I can get in on one of those free subscriptions again. I don't feel it's worth paying for it but I usually can find enough enjoyment in it that I won't turn it down if offered. Of course it it comes back awesome I may change my tune.
