I'm from the Bay Area, and I've always been an A's fan. Unfortunately, I live in San Francisco, and I absolutely hate the Giants. If I could have it my way, the Dodgers'll take the NLCS and the Rays (who I will always call the "Devil Rays") will take the ALCS. After that, I'd like the Dodgers to win, just to spite the Giants.
I wish the Red Sox and Angels could've just kicked each other's asses and both been eliminated at once. I hate them both. But I hate the Red Sox so much that I would've preferred that they were beaten by the Angels. Oh well.

The Cubs have lost, so I am happy. The White Sox have lost, so I am ecstatic...Boston is still in, making me a sad panda.

Dodgers!
I'm sorta tired of all the faux Red Sox fans now, just like the faux Yankee fans. Only hopping on the bandwagon because it's "cool." And I think now the Red Sox have turned into the "Evil Empire" of the Yankees.
I'd like to see the Devil Rays make it to the series, but I think the Dodgers will tough it out and win to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their last win.

This is how I feel in a nutshell.
The Red Sox are no longer "underdogs," and they have nearly as much money as the Yankees. I'm tired of seeing all these Red Sox fans everywhere now. Where were they ten years ago?
I'd like to see the Rays make it, too, because anyone who can take the AL East away from the Yankees or Red Sox is awesome in my book. However, they don't have any playoff experience, so I think they're going to choke in the end. I'd like to see them lose to the Dodgers though, if possible.

Go Phils!
The Philadelphia Phillies. The Losingest team in the HISTORY of Major League Baseball, as well as coming from the City with one of the longest droughts without a championship amongst any major sport (100 seasons).
Boston needs to quit the "woe is me" shtick. They've been huge in 3 out of the 4 major sports for the last 10 years or so now, with championships out the wazoo. How anyone can try to play the "underdog" role for them in Baseball, Basketball or Football is mind boggling.

Basketball? Celtics basketball these last ten years? Come on, man.
The 2004 Celtics were the worst group of 12 players to gather on a bench for an NBA playoff game in my lifetime. The absolute worst, by far.

Hey, it could be worse. You could live here in Colorado, where, for some ridiculous reason, everybody was convinced that last year wasn't some kind of fluke. The whole first month of the season was extra coverage on the Rockies everywhere you looked, until everybody realized that they were still a terrible team.

I missed the beginning of the game on TV, but I caught the end, and it was completely ridiculous. Man. I can't believe the Rays let that huge lead disappear like that. But it's okay. They'll take the next one! :D

I'm a phillies fan, through and through. I gotta say I was completely blown away my phils wrapped up their series with the Dodgers in 5 games. I'd been anticipating a 7 game series, and being a native Sothern Californian, it was a special kind of sweetness when it didn't make it past 5. Out of the 3 bars I watched the games in, I was the ONLY one cheering for the Phillies. Oh delicious Dodger tears, you sustain me.

Arghghgh, you know what? I had predicted when they first clinched the division that the Rays, despite having a fantastic record, were going to choke because they don't have playoff experience (which made me sad). Then, it looked like they were going to prove me wrong, and now we have a game 7. :(
Come on, Rays! You can do it! (And you have to because my NL team got eliminated!)

I'm a die hard Phillies fan and a partial season ticket holder. Their record for games that I attended this year is 13-5. I got to see Shane Victorino hit the grand slam against against CC Sabathia in the NLDS and the Phils beat the Dodgers 3-2 in game one of the NLCS.
I have tickets to game 4 of the World Series; section 329. It's rediculous the prices that tickets are going for on stub hub. In my area, there are tickets available for $1400 a piece!! I'm almost half tempted to sell them but to experience a World Series trumps a potential profit. As a partial season ticket holder, each ticket was only $150 bucks :)

I love the Angels. Eh. I already got more World Series wins outta them than I ever thought I would in my lifetime.

Montgomery Biscuits
It's funny because they are a real team. Every time I see a commercial about the Huntsville Stars playing the Biscuits, I laugh. It's so great that there is a team called the "Biscuits."
In other news, my ten years of living in Philadelphia taught me to proclaim...
