I'm determined to get the final two trophies in this game. I only need two to get the Platinum. I need to complete:

1. Get 8 players in the baseball field

2. Send a mugshot


It sucks because I don't have the Playstation 3 Eye, and the two USB webcams I have don't work with the PS3 it seems. So I don't think I'll be able to get that second trophy until I get the eye.

And for some reason when I enter or create a game with more than 7 players in it, I lose connection very quickly... It's extremely annoying when trying to get that first challenge. Anyone else run into this problem?

I never did. But I only played it briefly and meant to sell it. Didn't like it very much at all... I think taking away local multiplayer was way too big of a letdown to me. Anyway, no, I never had connection issues. And that was around launch, so, I imagine even more traffic.

Has anyone checked out the Bikes pack yet?

I need to give it another shot but my first impression was very dissapointed, and I went into it knowing how castrated the crashes were going to be.

Yes. They're quite fun... but it takes a loooooong time to get 100% on the bike, which is only a Silver Trophy i think.

And I can never stay in a group of 8 long enough before my connection drops.

I haven't even tried an online race, freeburn or an event with a bike. I just hopped on one and went for a ride around town to see what it was like. I'll have to give an event a try tonight.

I plan on getting an Eye soon because from what I've been reading, you can do a lot of things with it in LittleBigPlanet. I am planning to spend a lot of time with that game. Playing nothing but Burnout till then, though!

I'm probably gonna pick one up today too. I'm pissed my two plug and play webcams don't work with the PS3.

The PS2 eye and Xbox Live vision cam work! I think the latter is so weird.

Yeah but the PS3 Eye will be the only one that works with LBP.

when it says uPnP not available in the connection test... what does that mean?

Universal Plug and Play. Means the accessory doesn't support the standard for interoperability.

I need the Xbox camera to get two of the achievements I'm missing. I haven't had the same network problems you have, but it's not exactly paradise on Live either.

I have a lot on this and GTA4, for LPB beta and MGO never had any problem. Just upgrade my broadband speed to 12mb and still can't make an online game of GTA4/BP with more then 4 people.

I found out that the problem was due to my wifi. Which is strange because I don't have problems playing any other game online. Just Burnout.

Burnout is pretty much the only game I play online (PS3) and I've never had any problems with connections with it.
