Yeh those were tough. I found a certain spot in the game where I would continue to kill a certain amount of them over and over and over again and let the last guy kill me and it would continue from the same spot. The exact spot I did this was when you get off the jetski for the first time. You can also attempt the blowing up enemies with the barrels trophy too. It took a long time.

Yeah... I got the explosion one (and the expert) pretty easily at the part where you have to fight a bunch of guys in the middle of the wooden boobie-traps. You just get up on top where the guy with the grenade launcher was, take his gun, hit 3 of the guys trying to rush you at once, die, repeat. :D

EDIT: Also, I have 53 trophies now!

Just start a new game on easy and do it at the very beginning on the boat. The enemies spawn predictably, two at a time, and it only takes one or two shots to soften them up for the punch.

Yeah, this is the Gunslinger Combo. Makes the Steel Fist trophies extremely easy once you know it. Last damn trophies I got in that game too :o

Took a break from the PS3 to play WoW for a while, but today I found all of the smash gates in Burnout. I already had all billboards and super jumps. However, completing these don't get you trophies, just damn nice cars. Kind of losing the "trophy desire" since some of them are so hard and I have plenty of other games/things to do with numerous more awesome games coming (Dead Space, LBP, Lego Batman, etc). Can't wait for GTA4 and MGS4 trophy patches.

*sigh* As of yet, playfire is pretty much your best option (manually selecting what trophies you have).

I think my game is broken (re: "Steel Fist"). Two separate times last night, I shot every person on the boat twice, then knocked them out with one punch. That's 6/7 people in a row - and I didn't get either of the Steel Fist trophies. I even did it twice. And then I did it again, starting COMPLETELY over (not using any of the previous award/trophy info) and got nothing.

It's pissing me off SO badly. Looks like the Platinum trophy is a no-go for me on Uncharted. And I'm SO damn close. :(

EDIT: Doing a little research, it looks like this is actually happening to some other cats - they said they had to use a different copy of the game to get those trophies. LAME.

I didn't use old save games. Every time, I started fresh. Both using previous badges and trophies, and without.

I got the "different copy of the game" idea from some people in other forums I've been reading while looking into this. Like I said, I legitimately got both trophies a couple of times last night, and didn't actually GET the trophies. At this point, I'm willing to try anything.

My copy of Uncharted, on a couple of days, froze constantly and I had to restart the PS3 multiple times just to get it to run, only to watch it freeze again a few minutes into the game or loading. Persistence got me through it, but it was very odd and glitchy at random times. Never had a game do that to me before on the PS3 yet, though.

Yeh I've been tearing it up...I'm on vacation right now (quit my job for another job). Don't start work again for another 2 weeks. Once work begins, you'll see me come back down to reality. I'm curious, does anyone know why the percentage of the trophies you've achieved for a game is always off? Like right now it says I have 75% of my Dead Space trophies when I only need 2 more. The platinum and beating it on hard.

edit: btw, there is a glitch when starting a game in impossible mode. you need to load one of your competed games and then exit out to access it. kinda weird.

I played Little Big Planet for just under 10 minutes, and already got 4 trophies for it. Kind of crazy.

The Level is listed in the bottom right corner of your "PSN card" you can see it when you go to your friends list and pull up your own profile.
Basically each level of trophy (Bronze, Silver and Gold) are assigned a point value which are added together like Experience Points to get to a Level.
Bronze: 1 point
Silver: 2 points
Gold: 6 points
Platinum: 12 points
Playfire seems to use a slightly different calculation for the points that I will have to dig in to figure out.

Oh, yeah, I love Uncharted more than a normal person should. I realized too late though that I should have done my first playthrough on Hard. I didn't realize that Hard needed to be completed in order to unlock Crushing. I'm currently about to finish my second playthrough, but I'm probably going to give it one more go, just for that goddamned Platinum trophy. Oh, how I want it. I have a feeling it'll be the only Platinum I ever get.

I actually have Bioshock for 360 (though I never played it... shame on me), but I'm still deciding if I want Dead Space for 360 or PS3.

When I am missing trophies I usually go through the per game percentages listed on the Playfire page and compare that against my Trophy list, and then dig deeper once I find the game that is the culprit.

It's always worth replaying Uncharted, for trophies, or just for fun.
Neither MGS IV or SC IV have trophy support.
At this point it is mandated that all games have trophy support. I think there are still a few stragglers that we will see in the next few months that do not support them, but it is certainly getting better.

Yep, I'm pretty sure you're right. Just did a quick search and these are the point values allotted to each trophy type:

Bronze Trophy: 15 points
Silver Trophy: 30 points
Gold Trophy: 90 points
Platinum Trophy: 180 points

You need a certain number of points for each level.

I just now intentionally ran up a ramp in Killzone 2 where I had seen 3 enemies come from with a cooked grenade to kill them and myself to the get the fragmartyr trophy, then when it reloaded i used the same 3 guys to get Run and Gun - kill 3 enemies with one machine gun burst.

Robotnik just took a lot of patience. For columns you can start off with half the needed points. Mortis mentioned the tip in the proper thread for the game.

At the very beginning of the level stack blocks up to the top on the left and the right side. You will get a wildcard block for doing so. Then you just drop that block in the center without touching any bricks and you'll have 10,000 points.

That Terminator list looks a little fishy. The lack of silver and bronze trophies and the small number of them makes me think this is either made up, or incomplete.

And thank you! I only did two actual playthroughs. On my second (evil), I would save before reaching level 8/14/20 and did some "good" things to get the neutral status. Have logged way too many hours into that game though, much like Morrowind.

Since the cards are from the Euro PSN site, Union Jack (British flag) is on all of our cards.

I'm trying to get the LBP Platinum, but it's pretty difficult to get a group of 4 people together long enough to get through the levels where the 4x prizes are located. Anyone wanna help out? I don't believe they update automatically, unless it takes a really long time (just tested it). And the EU ones certainly look more professional and cleaner. You can use your own picture/theme on playfire though, if you didn't notice mine.
