Ooh, pretty stellar cast. My only concern is that it wears its influences on its sleeve (Exorcist, mostly).

Looks good. Another strange role for Gary Oldman.

The trailer made me feel like I had seen most the movie.
Also, the lead actress made me wish this forum had the hottest women alive thread...

Wait, was this in relation to my first or second sentence. I'm now confused.

I'm tired of the scary movie with the weird kid cliche. We've seen this way too many times since The Ring.

My love for Gary Oldman makes this a must see, but it looks pretty good, too.
Kind of a weird project for Michael Bay, though. Maybe there's an explosive car chase with Nicholas Cage that they just left out of the trailer.

He's been producing quite a few horror movies lately...Texas Chainsaw Massacre....Friday the 13th
I'm a huge sucker for bad horror films and this has my name written all over it. I'll be there day one.

I watched the trailer, but I can no longer watch horror movies. They actually disturb me now, as I get older. I used to enjoy them, though. Zombie flicks, Nightmare on Elm Street, and the like...
I can handle scary suspense, though.

It looks better than 1408, but I have a feeling I will be wondering what manner of barnyard animal Michal Bay has proof that Gary Oldman fucked after I leave the theater.

looks alright, tho it really seems to borrow from the exorcist and pretty much every asian horror movie made in the past decade. im sick of spooky children.
we need a new evil hero. where are the freddies and jasons of the 2000's!
Jigsaw? i dont think so. Freddy vs Jason vs Old Guy with Cancer...
yea prolly not.
and.. Michael Bay??!?

I don't really count the SAW films as horror, anyway. Whedon's term "torture porn" I find quite apt, and tend to concur with his wish to see the genre dead and buried.

Looks DOPE.
People actually say this?

Oh god.
The film looks mildly entertaining. Oldman may be the redeeming feature, but wasn't he retiring from movies?

Meh. I don't have a whole lot of faith in good, scary movies. Every now and then something kind of neat will come a long, but it's been a long time since I've been good and skin-crawlingly scared in a theatre.

Gary Oldman intrigues me, but Michael Bay frightens me. Spooky kid thing is definitely getting cheesy, it's a cheap scare, like a monster closet.
I'd like to see more psychological horror movies, ones where you never see a monster or anything, but there are just subtle things that happen that are creepy as all hell. Like the movie The Changeling (the George C. Scott one). Horror movies seem to be so much better (creepier) when they are subtle.
