Nothing too surprising. I had to take a second look to be sure I wasn't looking at last years press release. This does not include mid-season shows such as Miami Trauma, The Bridge and a mid-season return of Rules of Engagement.

I think the biggest surprise for me is the return of some shows. While it isn't shocking, I wasn't betting on Jennifer Love Hewitt's breasts to make it back next season. And when are they going to kill off The New Adventures of Old Christine?

Huh. How I Met at 8 again, and Big Bang at 9:30? That's really odd.

Yeah kind of a late time for BBT... Oh well not a biggie to me as that show rules and I can DVR it wherever it is....

NCIS LA, huh? I guess that episode a few weeks ago was a taste...

What is Three Rivers? CBS seems to really love their crime dramas.

I loathe BBT (LOATHE!), but I like HIMYM. It's pretty much the only thing I watch on CBS.

NBC is still king IMO. Though I really hoped Parks and Recreation would be much better than it has been.

I'm sick of hospital and cop dramas. SVU and the original Law and Order are the only ones I currently watch. I want something new, and not some self-involved series that drags on and on and on with episodes that show the writers don't know what to do next. I rarely watch any dramas these days, as shows with continuity really haven't been interesting lately. HBO, in that area, is still king because of their freedom.

Since when did CBS pick up Medium?

Since when did CBS pick up Medium?

Since NBC and CBS Productions couldn't come to an agreement over Medium's budget. Apparently this is kinda premature since NBC still has the rights until Friday.

I thought I read it was going to be another medical drama. Most likely set in Pittsburgh. The inaccuracies should be funny since I know so many people who work for Pittsburgh medical centers (and I myself did for several years as well).

Also: since it looks like The Unit is gone, I guess there's nothing at all on CBS that I watch other than the occasional 60 Minutes.

Darn, Mentalist is taking over 11th Hour's Thursday spot. Man, I actually liked that show. I do like Mentalist though, so least I still have that. Criminal Minds is still going which is nice, and it will be interesting to see if the cast stays.

I wish CBS would jump on the Hulu train, I love HIMYM but I'm a few months behind as there isn't a (legal) way to catch up, CBS's site only shows the most recent episode.

Glad to see it coming back.

I'm just curious as to why CBS posts the full episodes of some shows and not others. For instance, the mrs. and I like to watch HIMYM on friday nights. If there was a way that we could get Big Bang Theory so that we could also watch them later on in the week, that would be great.

I remember reading that the reason BBT isn't posted is the creator thinks it will hurt syndication rights.

I've been watching Eleventh Hour during my lunch breaks. I think I watched the eleventh episode today. I still can't decide if I like it or not. I guess it doesn't matter now but I am going to finish watching this season.

Huh. How I Met at 8 again, and Big Bang at 9:30? That's really odd.

Earlier this season it was pushed to the 9:30 slot for some special, I forget what, and did amazing ratings. I'd imagine that's why.

I like all of CBS' sitcoms, so I'm happy to see all of them return. Putting on The Mentalist at a later is great, too, since now I can watch it when it shows instead of on DVR.

If that's the case, I'll probably take a pass. I prefer the main show's sense of humour (even if the characters are kind of caricatures at this point).

Am I the only one that watches a lot of CBS shows? Two of the three CSIs, Survivor, Mentalist, NCIS...

I watch a lot of the all the CSI's, although I am considering dropping Miami as that show is getting unbearably stupid and Caruso is such a tool, Survivor, NCIS, BBT, and Numbers. Flashpoint was looking pretty good for a while but it seems to be losing steam and may not get renewed past the 9 episodes they are shooting now and just be a summer run next year.

I stopped watching Miami after the first couple of years for that very reason. I also stopped watching Numbers after they got way too preachy last season. Actually, I'm trying to cut back my TV shows in general because they're cutting into my video-game time in a big way.
