Picks of the Week
Captain America #50 - Marvel calls this the most important issue of the series since #25, and we all know what happened in that one. That's a pretty bold claim, but for the most part this series has not only lived up to the hype, it has surpassed it.
Boys Herogasm #1 - This is sort of a 'side story' to the main narrative since the Boys themselves play only a small role in the series. You know how every summer there's a massive Crisis/War/Threat which can only be defeated by the combined forces of all the world's Heroes? That happens in this world, too. Or at least that's what the public thinks happens. In reality...well lets say there's less 'fighting' and more 'f&^%ing'.
Question of the Week - It's solicitation time, so go check out what August holds for Marvel (http://www.newsarama.com/comics/090519-marvel-august-09-solicits.html), DC (http://www.newsarama.com/comics/090518-dc-august-09-solicitations.html), Image (http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=21229) and Dark Horse (http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=21128). So, what looks good, what looks bad, and what gets your motor running?
