**SPOILERS BELOW****SPOILERS BELOW****SPOILERS BELOW**

I'm 62 hours into the game at last check. Not sure how much is left, but I think I'm about halfway, judging from the side quests I've completed. I've got some questions, if anyone can help, it'd be much appreciated.:)

Question #1 - I have Yukiko as my girlfriend. I'm to a point where I can now have Chie as my girlfriend. It makes a vague warning about me already being with a girl, but if I take Chie as my woman, will I get in trouble? Will anything bad come from it at all? Will Yukiko leave me?!

Question #2 - I'm grinding very little in this game, I'm basically just doing dungeons to their entirety and then following up with the second run for the secondary boss and the special weapon. I make sure to follow all paths and clear all enemies, including a few respawns, but I'm not really hunting. I'm level 45 and just finished the first boss of the Void Quest. I'd like to get as high as possible, is this possible for me at this point or should I have been hunting respawns the whole time? When do you know what a good level is to continue on? I haven't had much of a problem with any enemies, even the bosses at this point, yet. I'm not super powerful either though.

Question #3 - Is it possible to max out all social links? Up to this point, I've focused on the four original team members. Kanji is still level 1 however. Also, Kanji is very low leveled, because when battling I've been using the same 4 team mates. Do you get to level up the others eventually as well?

Question #4 - What's the point of leveling your personas? I've kept Gdon around since close to the beginning because he always levels randomly, but I never use him because he's still well below the personas I can simply create. I don't see any reason to level personas. Am I missing something?

I think that's about it, or what I can think of off the top of my head, if I have more I'll add them in this thread later.

Again, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.;)

1. Cheating whore. Yukiko devotes herself to you, comes out of her shell, and you would destroy her like that? With her best friend?! Cold... So cold.

2. You can grind, I suppose, but I'd really only suggesting leveling until the mobs in each dungeon are easy. They are a pretty good measurement as to how much trouble you'd have with the bosses. Get too powerful and the game gets pretty boring.

3. It's possible but you're well beyond the point where you could. It takes planning and as LITTLE fighting as possible.

4. Some Personas get some exceptionally good skills at their level peak. These skills can then be transferred into new Personas as you make them. You can get things like Regenerate/Matarukaja/Etc. long before you might get it from generic Personas.

The real answer is: you can get intimate with as many girls as you like in this game without penalty. My first time through, I just went with Yukiko. Second time through, I went for everyone I could.

True, but also be aware that there are a very few skills on certain personas that will not transfer. These tend to be the ultra-powerful skills on the most powerful personas. For the most part, it's not an issue.

Ah, I love this game.

1. This has been answered, go for as many girls as you can!

2. Only grinded a little bit before each boss and was for the most part fine. If you're worried check a walkthrough for the recommended level.

3. It's something you want to try to do on a new game +. Your social stats (int, courage, etc) carry forward into a new game, so make sure to get all five maxed in your first play through. Then the next time around you don't have to worry about them at all (and can start all the social links from people in jobs a lot earlier).

4. Persona's also determine your combat stats so... leveling them up is the same as leveling up your character. Unlike all your companions you just get to have a lot of characters that you can change between.

This is true. But I find that generally you will increase your power more effectively by fusing new personas of as high level as possible as you gain levels, especially if your corresponding social link is high. This allows you to have personas that exceed your own level more easily than grinding.

Well, this is true. I guess I was just talking about persona levels in general :). Breeding Personas is one of the most fun pieces of the game :D.

Until you find yourself selecting and canceling over and over hoping for that one...perfect...skill combination.

1) You can reach intimacy with al the girls. There's some interesting lines of alternate dialogue, but no real penalty.

2) If all the spawns you see are small spawns, and tend to ignore you until they're right on top of you....move on.

3) Yes. I did it on my first play through. It's remarkably difficult, and you have to time everything you do quite closely.

4) Leveling personas through combat is silly, unless there's a specific persona you want to create that requires one of the parents to be a specific level (or you want said persona to have a specific skill - see Elizabeth's social link). It's better to just raise your Social Links.

Just remember that if you ever go back to play Persona 3 (and if you're enjoying P4, you'll love P3 despite some of its rougher edges) that girls will get jealous, unlike P4. :) (or so I'm told - I'm only at the Junpei's Believe it or Don't segement. Good god he makes this game awesome.)

Also, there are a few limited events (like less than six total) in P4 you can run into that will start off like you're getting closer to a girl, then a girl you're closer to will show up and screw it all up. I accidentally did this my first playthrough.

However, if you're completing the Social Links, as long as you answer the key question right, you're still going to hit intimate with that girl.

First, Junpei only gets more hilarious as the game goes on. The line he says to the second-to-last boss is epic. Plus he actually becomes useful in battle again once his Persona transforms.

Also, technically the girls do get jealous when you hang out with another girl, but it can be avoided. You have to be at link level...six I want to say, before they even get jealous, but it tells you that. After that you can still hang out with another girl, but doing so slashes 15 days off the "wait time" for your girlfriend.

If you consume around 30 days worth of time without hanging out with your girlfriend, she'll get pissed at you. What that means is that if you make sure to hang out with the girlfriend every other time, you can still see other women without going over her "I'm pissed at you" threshold. As in life, you can be a player...it just requires a little more effort. ;)

Thanks everyone for the answers.

I'm stuck on Margret's second request. I can't seem to figure out how to create it, but I think I'll just find a guide for that.

So did everyone else use the same 4 characters through out the game? The original 4 are all evenly leveled, but if I were to try to use Kanji or Teddy, they'd be like 15-20 levels below me because I haven't been using them.

It can be wise to keep them balanced - you'll eventually get another character, and keeping all characters leveled evenly allows you to rip through an entire dungeon in 1 day by using "Team B" to go through the first half of the dungeon, then using "Team A" to get through the latter half and the boss. That's what I did and while it wasn't the easiest thing in the world to juggle, I felt it paid off when I had all my characteristics maxed out and a looot of Max Rank S. Links.

If you have a high level on the Fox's social link, so full HP+SP healing is cheap, it might be wise to keep only 1 overleveled team and just use the Fox. That's the only situation I can think of though. At no point in the game are you left without your full team.

At the end of the game it makes more sense to have 1 team of strong characters for the final boss, but in the middle, you can get a lot more done outside the dungeons when you can burn through them in 1 day.

Despite leveling my characters evenly, I never really had a problem on bosses or the final boss. (to my recollection, the amount of XP required to level when you get towards the end ramps up significantly: all my "Team A" characters that went through the final dungeon with me remained within 2-3 levels of my protagonist, while my Team B was about 7-8 levels behind)

I kept them even. It wasn't too hard, mainly because if you take someone underleveled to your current dungeon with three other people who are decent, they'll shoot up levels very quickly. Their different skills, strengths, and weaknesses made me want to be able to have access to all of them.

I also kinda enjoyed having to adjust my strategies depending on who was in my party. Kept things a little fresh.

Interesting. I've got my Fox S. Rank to about level 7 so it's fairly cheap to heal, and Yukiko has a moderate health heal, so I heal everyone up with that and then take the heal from the Fox. I have well over 100k money (yen?) so money's not been an issue yet.

I think if I play through a second time, I'll work to level up my secondary team a little and take your guy's advice.

I binned Chie for Teddy as he had healing as well as ice, xp scales to level so Teddy will level up very fast and catch up with you.

Yes, but Teddy lacks Power Charge + God's Hand. :)

I kept all mine fairly evenly split. You never know when one character's specific niche (spells/immunities) would come in handy.
