CoG @ PAX Gear

I just want to give everyone a heads up. After the E3 madness ends we'll be starting a contest to design the official CoG @ PAX shirts. We'll accept designs for a couple weeks, then open up voting on the designs. The winner(s) will get their design on a line of products at out Zazzle store, and we'll send them a product of their choice featuring their design. We'll also keep the royalty rate for the CoG/IM @ PAX line as low as Zazzle will allow to make them affordable. We're letting you know now so you can all start cracking on designs. (Someone will be around to post hi-res versions of the CoG/IM logos shortly)

We'll post the official rules when the contest starts. We'd prefer to use only one image on a piece (two images bump up the price significantly) so try not to create a design which needs both the front & back of the shirt (they also don't work as well on non-shirt items).

We hope to see a ton of Colonists at CoG rocking the CoG @ PAX gear.

I think the plan is to have an "official" and a "community" shirt (or two). With Zazzle, we can get them printed up easily without having to batch order 'em. It'll let people pick what they want.

Here's the (tentative) plan. We'll open up submissions - either to an email address or a thread - for all forum members sometime after E3 winds down. After a couple weeks, the staff will narrow down the submissions to a manageable number, and then we'll open up a vote. We may divide the entries by 'light' and 'dark' submissions, since some great designs just won't work well on one or another. We'll decide that based on submissions. The winning designs will be up in the Zazzle store some time around Independence Day, so everyone will have plenty of time to order and get delivery.

This is a two-sided design (for black shirts) the front would be the CoG @ PAX logo, and the back could be the little bacon thing. There's a discussion as to the appropriateness of having bacon on the shirt. This is the first strip of bacon I've ever drawn...I think it came out well.

And the moon has to be made out of bacon. And one wolf is made of pancakes, one is made of crepes, and one is made of waffles and they're having a battle to the death. Also, they're vampires.

While the type across the yoke says:

Hey! I know! Why don't we just buy shirts made completely of bacon?! Get about 3-5 pounds of uncooked bacon made into a t-shirt and whenever you get hungry peel off a couple of slices and fry 'em up. :rolls eyes:

I'd like to see shirts that are that purpley shade of the forums. This color (if you're viewing the "Lights Out!" theme) is what I mean. (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/showpost.php?p=306899&postcount=55) Would look good with a golden cog.

The fact that my school colors are purple and gold has no influence on this preference.
