When all the penis comparing goes away on both sites , a lot of us will be much happier. If I was Phil and had some people pming everyone on the site to leave my site I would have banned those people so removing pm ability is to be expected. And Phantom are you really making fun of other posters for wanting to help rebuild a gaming forum? I mean THE WHOLE membership here on all of these networked boards came from that forum you are now belittling. There are still a lot of quality people there posting and there's no need to continue this on into the future.

I wouldn't go so far as to say THE WHOLE membership on the network came from EvAv. I would especially point out Co-Optimus which has plenty of users that had never heard of EvAv before getting to CO (and were CO users well before any of this went down). So, let's not say THE WHOLE membership came from EvAv, shall we?

Yeah, the users did that on their own re***nizance (oh, sorry! "cog" isn't really banned here) without any orders or requests from us to do so. As far as I know, none of the founders were doing the PMing over there (I know I didn't).

I didn't PM anyone! We can't control what individuals do, but I sincerely doubt anyone on the staff here was out forcing people to leave Evil Avatar. It's a personal choice.

Please don't belittle my team's efforts over at Co-Optimus. I don't deny that EvAv helped get the site recognized, but A TON of my traffic and readers have found the site through Google and people just generally excited about Co-Op.

Im just saying it shows poor class to start picking on the site we all met on and where 90 percent of this network came over from. Phantom was just posting over there and got word of this place now he is making fun of new members there. I think that stinks.

I will visit both sites as long as they both shall live ( unless I get banned from here for not following 100 percent with the sausage fest ). And Fits im not saying you pm'd people for the sole reason of getting them to follow here but a lot of people here were sending pms on phils site to get them to leave his site , to deny that is lunacy. I am done with this , i shouldn't have let Phantoms off the cuff comment piss me off , for that I apologize. I just hate that the community got split up and I have to let that go.

You won't get banned from here, so don't worry about it. We were never denying people were sending PMs over there to their friends. However we wanted to point out that we didn't direct them to do so in any way, shape or form...they made that choice themselves after being presented with why we left (whether Phil/Evil refutes them or not, which as far as I know he hasn't done either publicly as of yet).

The very last sentence where you hate that the community got split up, don't think for a minute that those of us who were tied to EvAv and created this site don't hate that too. However, if things continue as they have at EvAv this cycle will repeat again down the road. It happened years ago with the splitting off of Gamers with Jobs and recently with us. There is obviously a problem there that even the most naive and unbeknownst of readers/users are going to realize and question.

The cycle has started again and chances are good that history will repeat itself down the line.

If you'd been paying attention, you'd know that I've spoken out about railing on EvAv (the site, not the person) many times. If you're detecting anything underhand, then you owe it to yourself, CoG, and EvAv to state that the staff here are NOT participants.

Oh, and even suggesting you would be banned for not partaking in the "sausage fest" says more about you than it does about CoG. Poor show, Luth.

If people have a brain and cannot put 2 and 2 together about what happened then yes. It seems the "new" people that slid in over the past 1-2 months are just ignoring what happened just so they can be more involved now. Problem is that EvAv seems to be on a revolving door for these breakups which is very sad.
Rebuilding a forum is fine, but if the foundation is fucked then the house doesnt stand even if its made of gold. :o

It was so weird going back. No reds on, small number of oranges, and a handful of yellows.

It's not really suprising. I was really angry when Kamalot went from frequently warned and sometimes banned to a Red. I do not believe in rewarding bad behavior.

I kinda felt a little ganged up on , thats where the sausage fest comment came from..and i said not 100 percent with it , since I am glad for you all to have your own forum which is deserved just not happy to see some peeps happy at the destruction of the evil avatar page.
