Just wanted to revive this topic, as I know a few of you regularly play a few. What's your poison?

Me? Right now it's Kingdom of Loathing (http://www.kingdomofloathing.com). They keep adding content, the interface is sharp, and almost everything is witty and sardonic. I've picked up my Turtle Tamer and started going through quests vigorously. I know there was a strong Urban Dead faction of EvAver/CoG'rs before, too, wondering if you guys are playing anything else too.

On a side note, what kind of browser based MMO would you like to play? I'm actually starting up an old project to bring one to life, and am starting to work a few ideas into it. Right now I'm trying to decide if it should be serious or snarky ;)

I can't think of any except for KoL and a Super Hero one done in much the same style. I can't even remember the Superhero one's name now, just that you chose between Gadgets, Animals, Elemental or Psionics as your starting powerset and worked your way up from there, X amount of turns per day.

Hard to beat the oddness and gameplay of KoL though.

How many turns do you get a day in KoL? Urban dead ended up being too slow for me, you couldn't do enough in one day.

You get a base amount of 40 adventures a day. An adventure is consumed when you elect to go into combat or start a puzzle or something. (more info on the KoL Wiki here (http://kol.coldfront.net/thekolwiki/index.php/Adventures)). The beauty of KoL is, you can gain back adventurers by consuming alcohol and eating food, though only a limited amount of each. There are also items you can equip in your inventory and campground that will increase the adventures earned per day. You can also bank adventures, to a maximum of 200.

I've never really felt restricted by the adventures limit, obviously there are times when I want to keep playing, but by the time 11pm Eastern rolls around, I have more ;)

Adventure on and Mech Quest though they are sort of MMO's and not really exactly MMO's. I love them both. I am not sure why as they are sort of shit but man they pass the time for me.
