In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn’t commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade and clicked on this week’s new episode link (http://ingamechat.net/audio/IGC20090428.mp3).

At some time in the past, likely years ago at this point, the quality of the Lego Star Wars games led the hosts to suggest that the combination of Lego and any beloved series was a natural path to joy and success. Putting aside the fact that we were completely wrong, we’re tempted to repeat that claim where Mr T is concerned, and we’d do it based solely on the strength of a single, meme-tastic game announcement.

Once again we have to point out the sad lack of our Jeremy for this episode. He has a bountiful family, and those things come with birthdays and other wondrous obligations of kinship. What we have left here are the misers and hermits with no obligations and no ties that bind. We’re sure someone out there understands.

I was all set to curse you guys out for making me wanting to play Crackdown again while I still have a massive backlog, but then I hit the end of the episode, and now I would really like Croteam to put out Serious Sam: The Third Encounter for the PC around, say, Q3 2010. I'd consider it a birthday present, to be honest. I was smiling and nodding throughout your reminiscence about those suicide-bombing fuckers (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA) and the arena (so many bad memories, until I beat it) and all that jazz. So many of those enemies had distinctive sounds that warned you what was coming so you could plan at least some kind of strategy initially, but really, it all went out the window once you saw 150 guys coming flying at you. Great times.

You guys made me order Crakdown from New Egg (for $10!) again. I honestly don't understand why I ever traded it in; I was pretty surprised when I went to look on my shelf and it wasn't there. If I remember right, my save got corrupted because I had DLC that suddenly wasn't tied to my machine after it got back from the repair cernter, which is cool, cause now I "have to" play through it all again.

Lego Mr. T, eh? That makes at least two games presently being made with Mr. T in it :p
