Pretty cool Teaser Site (http://na.square-enix.com/mystery/)

Going to be announced at E3 this year.

Hint: John F Kennedy quote at the bottom?

"The world is very different now. For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life."

The theory is Front Mission for the 360, continuing Square's 360 exclusive kick. I'm just glad to see another Front Mission, despite not having finished any of them yet.

Nothing here yet, so since you started the thread..... you're in! :p

I've seen it around, just haven't gotten around to posting anything yet.

Front Missions are IMO one of Squeenix's best series. But criminally underrated in the US.

New Front Mission would be awesome. Please be turn based and not pseudo real time.

New Front Mission? As long as it's better than Front Mission 4, that's awesome. I've been wondering whether or not Square-Enix would do anything with this license this generation...

No idea if this is related or a different game entirely, but this is from the Official PlayStation Magazine (via a site called BeefJack (http://www.beefjack.com/blog/news/ps3/square-enix-mystery-game-update/)):

If they are the same game that sure as hell isn't Front Mission.

Vagrant Story?
Damn, I didn't even think about it being a VS sequel. Now that would be awesome.

I don't think awesome quite aptly describes it.

How about super-hella-kickass-it-better-not-suck?

Also, was the consensus that Front Mission 4 sucked pretty broad? I got the demo disc from SE and rented it, and found it exceptionally lacking as my first entry to the series.

This the first time I've heard of Front Mission 4 sucking. I've enjoyed it a lot, as did a friend of mine who borrowed it.

I believe people were just disappointed in it compared to 3. I've never played much of the series, maybe 15 hours of 3 and then 2 hours of 4, but I think it's generally accepted that 3 was the better game. We didn't get the last two proper console Front Mission games, 5 and the online game.

Front Mission 3 was amazing.

I miss that game... I was cleaning the disc once and accidentally destroyed it. If I could find another copy I would love to pick it up again.

I see them all the time at gamestop, usually between $10 and $15. Front Mission 4 was good but 3 was amazing.

Oh really? I can't remember the last time the GameStops here carried PS1 games, much less those of Front Mission 3 caliber.

I hope not.
Nothing against VS, but now I have my hopes up for more Wanzer action.

Vagrant Story?

Wow, that image looks pretty cool.

In combination with the teaser sire though, I doubt Vagrant Story. No buildings blowing up in VS.

Yea, Vagrant Story is set in the Ivalice of Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XII. Seems a bit farfectched they would release a sequel set in a world of our future.

(Unless the article and the teaser website are for two different games)
