This game just came out for PC only. It is described as a FPS horror game. I'm not too big into these types of games, but I know a lot of you are. What does interest me is the location and plot of the game. I may pick it up for cheap if it doesn't disappear first.

I've read about it on Russian sites and the story seems intriguing. Apparently the player is a scientist trapped on an old forgotten icebreaker. He has to then save the crew, the Captain and the Ship by shifting in alternate realities/timelines and undo the individual mistakes that lead to the Ship being trapped in ice.
The game apparently uses Nvidia PhysX's new water physics, however from videos water looks more like oil or quicksilver.

The water's very pretty. Unfortunately, my 8800GT dropped down to around 15FPS with the effects turned on during such scenes.
The game's enjoyable though, from the first few levels that I'd played. Very creepy stuff, Bioshock and FEAR like.

Are there zombies? I am really sick of zombies.

I've played through the first few levels of this game and I found it to be quite boring.

One of the comments in the review was pacing issues. Although, a game that starts out slow is a bad thing. I hate playing through a boring game hoping for it to redeem itself later. I imagine many people just give up.
Well it is $30 retail right now. Not too bad of a wallet blow if it doesn't live up to expectations. I wonder if Steam will pick this up.

I've been excited for this game. At $30, I may just pick it up right away. Though I have to admit, I'm a fucking pansy, so I might shit my pants playing this.

Alright, fuckers. I picked this game up from GamersGate and am downloading it now. I don't have a whole lot of money, but I figured for $30 and for something to talk a bit about on the podcast, I should do it. I hope it turns out to be worth my $30.

Not bad...not great. It's a bit confusing at how some stuff works (not in how it controls, but just in how things happen within the game). I haven't played too much yet, but I'll play some more. I want to save most my impressions for the podcast, which should be up on Monday.
