Posting from my new blackberry!!!! Cog should put together a mobile site so the page is easier to navigate. That would rule.

I've often hoped we would make a mobile version of the page, but it isn't the biggest deal as my Blackjack II still handles the normal page just fine. I would only want the mobile page for faster loading.

A mobile site? Why?

<said with iPhone in hand> ;)

Mobile-friendly version of CoG (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/archive/index.php).

Click the link in the top-right that says "PDA".

It's the wave of the future and it's not all that hard to do. This is my first phone that has 3G and I'm so impressed with how fast it is.

Wouldn't need it if you had an iPhone instead sucker. ;)

My point exactly. Actual web displays are a wonderful thing.

Hey, look, as soon as Verizon gets an iPhone with a keyboard that doesn't blow donkey balls, I'll get an iPhone.

Which is to say, never ever ever. ;)

I find opera mini handles cog just fine, it's a great browser if you don't mind missing out on flash stuff.

I hope that's true for the Nintendo one, too; I'm likely going to pick up the DSi soon, and the thought of having CoG on the go...it gives me goose pimples. :D

I wouldn't worry about it; half the people can't stop doing that with a normal keyboard. ;)

I just hate how this thing cab pick some really weird words sometimes.

I disliked mobile cog, so I'll stick with normal cog and my iPhone. Even if it makes me spell like a 5 year old sometimes

The iPhone whoring in this thread is nauseating. And why wouldn't you want a mobile friendly page for the iPhone? See: reddit mobile

I have a Blackberry Storm , 3G is a lot faster then what my old phone used to provide but in the end its still painfully slow as compared to my 20 meg line at home heh..

same here, I have a storm as well. CoG loads pretty fast on it, but zooming and such is annoying...just like I'd imagine it is for all smart phones.
A shorter link for the mobile site would be nice too...
like m.colonyofgamers.com or something

I guess I'm in the minority, but browsing non-mobile sites on the iPhone is a pain in the ass. I love it when sites have a built-in auto-format for iPhone. Too much scrolling around, not saving my username/pass... it's just a pain. Opera did it better on my S60 and WinMo automatically.

I use Opera on the Android, and the site is fine. maybe a bit more scrolling, but not a huge deal.
