Bands. So far? 6 of them. All of them awesome. Anamanaguchi, Freezepop, JoCo and MC Frontalot. Two new ones: Metroid Metal and Paul & Storm.

Exhibitors. Crazy enough, we're almost sold out already. Some of the highlights include The Behemoth, Bethesda, Bioware, Blizzard, Capcom, CCP Games, EA, Foundation 9, Microsoft, Mythic, Nintendo, NC Soft, Rockstar, Telltale, Turbine, Ubisoft, Upper Deck, Valve, and WB Games. More announcements coming!
Awesome. Can't wait for JoCo again!! I know nothing of Paul & Storm and Metroid Metal.

Hmm, no playstation?

I'm not sure if I can convince rinichanraar to go if there's no Uncharted 2.

Paul and Storm are JoCo's touring buddies. They're pretty much his official opening band. Similar folk humor music, though not as funny as JoCo.

Myself and the (now) girlfriend saw Jonathan Coulton with Paul and Storm opening, and we actually enjoyed them more. I bought their CD right there, even at exorbitant concert prices.

We (Bone, Backseat Killer and me) saw Paul & Storm live last month (Coulton was there too). They're fucking awesome.

They really are damn good. In fact, the one time I saw them, I won their little email sign up contest. Got some Pirate gear and their CD.

And a hole in the crotch of my pants.

Yep.

Listened to Metroid Metal. They sound like a good replacement for Mini Bosses if they couldn't get them this year. Good instrumental prog metal.

This Youtube clip wasn't bad, but when I read this post the first thing I thought was "What? No Mini Bosses?!" Those guys fucking rocked it last year. I geeked out big time when they hit the beginning of the Ninja Gaiden theme. I think Ross, Drew and myself were out there 'til almost 0330 watching those guys play. That was some great stuff, it just kind of sucked that they got going so fucking late, you know?

I am so excited that Coulton is back. Also, Metal Metroid sounds awesome. This is amazing, I thought I couldn't be more excited for PAX. I guess I was wrong.

I so want to taunt and tease you all with insider info. I mean I'm really having to bite my fingers to keep from typing super awesome secrets. Suffice to say, the band line up is only one small part of the sheer awesome that is in store for you this year.

The only one I would want to see is Frontalot, and I've seen him before. The lineup listed here is definitely not hurting my feelings about not going to PAX.

I've been thinking the same thing. PAX cannot come soon enough.

Storm, Paul, me, JoCo.

I hear Paul and Storm on The Bob and Tom Show every once in awhile. They had a great Mother's Day song recently. :)

Damn. I don't know a single one of those bands. Not a fucking one.

I assume they're all gaming/nerd related?

JoCo sounds like a retarded shortening of a name. Please, let's not do that.

You are correct my good sir. and JoCo stands for Jonathon Coulton.

Also, I didn't know any of them last year (aside from Coulton) and I loved them all..so really looking forward to the repeats.
