Guess what happened?

Funny thing is, I hadn't played a single game on it in over a month. I was using it, but mainly as my media machine. It's out of warranty. I may fiddle with it, and sell it to some poor sap.

Mine has been getting louder and I've been getter nervouser* as my warranty is up in less than a month. I'm thinking about letting her run all weekend long so that I get her in just under the warranty. Trouble is I don't get all that much or consistently so she may really be not that far along.

Though I will admit I would love a reason to buy one with HDMI.

You will only fuck up your DVD-Rom.

Only RROD and E74 are covered by the 3 year warranty. Everything else has a 1 year warranty.

I've never had a RROD. I have however had 3 different 360s that all developed DVD reading issues. They were all under warranty though, so it didn't cost me squat. Just time and a lot of mailing them back to Microsoft.

Mine had better not RROD, it was a refurb when I won it on EvAv, I doubt it's still covered for anything. And dammit, I've gotten too used to how good FFXI looks on the 360 compared to the PS2, I'd pretty much have to go out and get an Arcade to replace it, which would suck.
