Also, I was in China when Hong Kong was returned to them, in Tiananmen Square. It was truly a blast. I was sitting atop the shoulders of my 6' 6" friend, and I'm 6' 2", and the Square was packed with people taking pictures of us waving the Chinese and Hong Kong flags. I was, and am, genuinely fond of China, actually. :)

I wasn't fond of the drunk Chinese man who urinated in our hotel elevator as my friend and I were riding it with him. That sucked.

He was probably the Chinese Prime Minister or something. Seriously, I was talking to some Chinese people the other night, and they were all like, "Man, fuck that Johan guy."

At least I think they were Chinese. They might have been Japanese or Korean or Filipino or Ecuadorian. Or possibly they were just eating Chinese food.
