I know that with the announcement upcoming and the hints that KOTOR will be an MMO I feel that I would be happier with a single player game. How do you feel? Would you rather have KOTOR be a single player game or are you excited over the MMO aspect?

I would also much rather prefer a single-player game. Clearly they were building towards a trilogy with the first two, and it's Star Wars, of course there's going to be a third game. That said, as much as I would prefer this announcement to be KOTOR3, I'm pretty sure it'll be a KOTOR MMO.

MMO. I've wanted a Bioware MMORPG for as long as I can remember. I will buy a new PC or MAC for this.

KOTOR 3 PLEASE!! I loved both games so much and I really want a third installment, and also for Neverwinter Nights.

I just don't like the grinding, never-ending that MMOs thrive upon. Everytime I've tried an MMO it just feels like your life being sucked into a blackhole. Without a proper plot and story it just feels like a waste of time to me. I like games to have a beginning, a story, a plot and a nice end, and for the community element - a multiplayer option, but MMO? No! Just NO!

Please, God, don't let Bioware opt for an MMO over KotOR 3 (I can compromise with there being both).

I'd rather get a proper KOTOR 3. I don't want another MMO, and I don't see how it could successfully wrap up the story from the previous KOTOR titles, which is my only concern! Although it would be very interesting to see how Bioware takes their story-centric philosophy and translates it to the MMO genre. Still... KOTOR MMO? Do not want. KOTOR 3? Do want!

What a silly question. KOTOR3 is the obvious answer, but I'm one of those who still doesn't "get" MMOs. Randomly generated empty environment can only last so long for me. The social interaction aspect doesn't really grab me either.

Yeah, as someone who just can't do the MMO thing (eventually the time sink aspect bores the hell out of me), I'd much rather have another singleplayer game out of Bioware.

Wonder if the vote is one sided because this is in the console forum.

No, it's one sided because most of us are pretty awesome

I debated where to post it but since the Xbox and XBOX360 would probably be more/less excited by a MMO switch I figured I would put it in here.

I don't have the time to dedicate to an MMO to justify a monthly cost so I vote KOTOR 3.

See, thing is... didn't they already announce an MMO? So it's either for sure the MMO or it's KOTOR3. I want KOTOR3, personally.

I will eat my hat if it's not an MMO. From what I understand Massively.com got an invitation, thats one hell of an indicator if you ask me.

I'd like both. And though it may be a KOTOR MMO that winds up getting anniounced, that doesn't rule out a proper KOTOR 3 either.

I voted MMO, but with concessions - it would have to be solo friendly throughout, with enough rewards for both. Take the Tortage (first 20 lvls) area of Age of Conan as a guide - THAT needs to be an entire MMO.

Proper KOTOR III please. Though this was an easy choice for me because I don't do MMOs.

I would much prefer a single player game. If it's an MMO I will either not play it because I don't have time for MMO's or I will have to give up some other things I am doing.

Single player for me. I like my RPG's heavy on story and light on grind. As I said in the other thread, if Bioware goes the MMO direction I don't see how they'll reconcile their company's stated dedication to story telling with an MMO's need to provide a perpetual universe that never ends.

I think an MMO could be a lot of fun.

PUT THE MMO ON THE 360.

Voted MMO. Very curious to see what Bioware's approach would be for one.

Considering the closest thing Bioware has made to a multiplayer game is Baldur's Gate II, with limited LAN capability. I doubt they have suddenly ramped up their staff to handle an MMO.

Looks like single player is winning by a landslide. And yet MMOs are where the money is. I have not played an MMO past the character creation screen. I guess I am a minority.

I want it to be a single-player game, but I fear that it will be a MMO. :(

Don't forget BioWare Austin (http://pc.ign.com/articles/910/910378p1.html).

I guess the remarkable isn't really that remarkable by default in MMOs, but KOTOR stands for Knights of the Old Republic. And I don't want a Jedi Master walking up to me with a serene, wizened, and lined face asking me if I can tank Mandalore without wanting any of the drops because his friend needs them.

That's just...just not what I want.

I'm from the Dark Side, I just don't like MMORPGS

I love BioWare's single player games, but I'd like to see how they handle an MMO. They're all about making deep, changing worlds, and hopefully that will transfer onto the Internets.

I want a Campaign based game with support with small group multiplayer. BioWare is good at telling stories, they are not good at building environments if their last 4 RPGS (I don't know about Sonic yet) are anything to go by. In MMOs... the setting and character stats and items are what matters the most, which are also the things Bioware is worst at.

BioWare is a storytelling company to me. They tell stories in games, and they do a kickass job of it.

And you said no one was waiting for KOTOR 3. Pfft.
