FFXI - Registration Woes

I purchased the 360 Vana'Diel Collection thinking I would see what Gorvi is always going on about. :)

Apparently it is not meant to be because every CC I enter during the registration is giving me an error. At least I killed a couple of hours trying to beat the registration process. It's almost like playing a game and losing to the final boss over and over until you give up in frustration.

Thing is, I registered a long time ago using one of the same accounts I am trying to register with right now. Too bad I don't remember all of my Play Online info and honestly it's not worth tracking down.

Bummer, I remember the hoops you have to jump through signing up and how big of a pain in the ass it was. Maybe the problem is that you're trying to use the same account as you used to? Have you tried starting a new one or were you planning on recovering your characters?

Also, You pick the pack up from the gamestop sale? I was thinking about picking that up earlier this week but held off since I know I'll probably quit again.

I remember when I signed up for the 360 version having to enter in each page of details like 5-6 times until it finally accepted them. And after all that I played the game for a grand total of 3 days before realizing it wasn't for me.

Have you tried calling their customer support? They're actually rather helpful. It's 858-790-7529. I wish I could help, but it's literally been 5 years since I signed up, so by this point it's all forgotten.

Stoke - yes, I picked it up from GS. It's only $15 for the collection so I figured even if I can't get into it, I will get my $$ worth.
