So I turn on my 360 this morning in preparation of getting my game on, only to come across an ad for the new Gears of War 2 Zune - with the following text:

"Declare your allegiance to the COG Army".

Whomever came up with the name Colony of Gamers, and the CoG acronym, deserves a big ol' pat on the back.

I actually went back and played through Gears on Insane again these past few days trying to find COG tags I missed, and all I could think of when I read "COG" was this site. It was awesome. :)

Also, Johan, I thought it was four, too! Maybe they made an exception for you. ;)

...I've actually had several people laugh at me when I told them the site was called Colony of Gamers. I think it's a corny name.

CoG's good, though. A good solid acronym.
