Just experimenting with an unique story telling.
________________
I stood at the bottom of the green emerald hill, the soft wind swaying among the grass. I look up towards the top of the hill and see a country lass. She stands there with her face towards the open sky, her golden hair flowing, a beautiful living thing as the sun shines upon her skin. The forest all around, distinct and mild yet full of colors in muted hue; it’s as if it’s giving the country lass all it’s energy! I could tell her feet were firm and steady upon the grassy hill as her eyes searches the horizon for something she doesn’t know what she’s dreaming for but she knows it’s out there. I looked upon her body, short yet solid with curves along her body as her country skirt sways to the wind, flows beautifully down towards her hips, the fabric thinly covering the strength of her legs. The more I admire, the more I can see the heartiness of the country within her and I could tell she has had it all her life!
The wind brush by me, across my back and legs, across my face and chest, slowly making a swirl and I can feel the wind tug and pull towards the country lass as my feet obeys. Steadily up the hill my legs carried me and the wind lets me go as I came closer to the back of the country lass. As I approach, she tensed up and quickly looked behind. Her mouth opened in surprise and quickly her face blushes as the forest’s leaves all around changed to a reddish green shade. I glanced around in amusement and looked at her in the eyes as I gave her a small respectful bow.
“Who-how...Who are you?” She stammered in shyness as she glanced around trying to find where I came from. I stood there in bemused silence as she circles around, looking at her forest landscape, outlying mountains, and grassy meadows. She took a cautious look upon my face yet curiosity battled and won, “How did you get here?”
I lifted up my softly firm and strong hand, with the palm up to the sky, inviting her to place upon mine her own hand. She looked into my eyes and found something she quickly trust and felt an odd tinge of love which she brushed aside as conscience. She lifted up her country hand and placed it within my warm firm hand and I embraced it. She gasped as the world shifts and shimmers, she saw me journeying along her forestry borders for nine long years, admiring and giving silent aide whenever I can without asking for much of a thing. One day, the forest opened up and a small barely seen path appeared. The who of all that I am quickly recognized the country path, the kind that so few would ever see or know for what it is.
The image faded away as her breathless breeze all around swirls in a heart thumping surprise. She looked at me with wondering in her eyes, “So that’s how you found me and my country core’s own home.” I nodded, carrying a small smile with laugher in my eyes as I release my hold upon her hand. “But…who are you?” she said as she looked at me with curiosity and found herself surprised as her hands slowly cups my face and my hands found her hips as I willingly show her all of who I am. And the land shimmers and fades.
A new land emerged into view, showing surrounding high mountains on one side and far off mesas and plateau with a valley resting in between. The sky is full of monsoon floating rain clouds leaving many parts of the whole sky full of deep pulsing blue! The wild of the monsoon clouds pours life giving water upon many similarly wild spots across the valley’s horizon. The life upon the ground seems sparse and rough living but as I walk with her, hand in hand, life starts to become alive all around us! Trees, just as tall as we, shines in bright deep green, cactus and sage brush sways in the warm monsoon wind as jack rabbits with it’s long ears cautiously nibbles and runs, brush to brush. Road runners, its sleek feathers with blazing yet subtle colors that blends with the land, running as it chase bugs and grasshoppers. The dry soil of the ground as we walk upon blends between red and white and tan. She looks around in astonishment, her mouth opening ready to say something as my finger covers her lip and I smiled as I shake my head. I continued to hold her hand as we walked along a river full of tall willow, oak, and elm trees that sways in the river scented wind. The river coming from miles away, gave life to the valley all around; family of chickadees playing in the shallow, antelopes stopping for a drink of water, great blue herons spear fishing, enduring butterflies fluttering from flowers to flowers, and so many more! I smiled at her and released her hand-
-And the land shimmered and came into focus as she gasps and steps back from my face. She looks around her land, exclaiming “Wha…?” as she notices the forests and leaves increased in colors and numbers and the grasses all around became more vibrant with bright deep green. The sky became clear crystal sapphire in color with her favorite lazy carefree clouds floating across the sky as the sun looks on. She looked at me and felt her heart skipped a beat. I looked into her eyes and she saw all the feelings it had within and felt her eyes stay still with her mouth slightly opened, showing her own feelings coming out within our moments of silent.
She took a deep breath and broke eye contact. She turned around and took a long look at her country’s core. I can see her lungs breathing in deep and peaceful yet I can see her hands remembering my touch. I look upon her back with its golden hair flowing as I look upon her well formed hips and legs. Her back slightly stiffens as she feels my eyes upon her and she turns around trying to hide her smile.
“I…”, she started with a shake to her head and a slight blush, “Welcome to my country core. I don’t know what you did to me here but…” and her eyes widens as I step closer.
“Hello, Jenilee”, I softly said as I put my hands upon her lower back and neck, drawing her in close, bending slowly to kiss upon her lips. She wrapped her arms around me in a surprisingly confident manner as her legs melts. And the land all around, gave a crazed pulsating sigh as the sun looks on.
