SYSTEM OF A DOWN singer Serj Tankian and former FAITH NO MORE vocalist Mike Patton have collaborated on a new song called "Bird's Eye", which will appear on the soundtrack of the upcoming movie "Body of Lies". The track, which was co-written with composer Marc Streitenfeld, is available for streaming on Serj's MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/serjtankian). "Bird's Eye" will play during the film's closing credits. I added the question mark there because I'm having problems listening to the song on Serj's myspace. It's definitely there but it's not playing for me.

I can't even find it. Damn, I hate myspace.

Finally got it to work in Chrome. It sounds alright, I can definitely tell this wasn't written as a "full" song. It sounds like it would make good background music but not deserve your full attention.

Damn my work computer and it's lack of sound! Definitely have to give this a listen when I get home. Even though I can't really get into any of their newer stuff, hearing Serj or Mike's name still makes me pay attention.

Pretty cool. I'm digging the heavily middle-eastern influenced accompaniment.

I actually really enjoy Serj's music when it goes towards that more naturalistic sound. The screeching and the chaos doesn't appeal to me, but the quieter sections of his and SOAD's work always seemed to have a lot of potential to me.

Meh, I didn't even make it through the whole thing due to being bored and then I noticed Lie Lie Lie and decided to listen to that awesomeness.
