PETA scares me. I wouldn't accept sandwiches or gasoline from them. Why are they presenting the vegan sandwich as some kind of... punishment? "You can have gasoline but you have to eat this delicious sandwich first!" Unless all the vegan food I've ever eaten is a lie, and vegan sandwiches are somehow made of misery.

I think they're presenting the gas as a reward for trying something, and not the vegan sandwich as a punishment...

there is a catch to that though, you have to stand there and let them watch you eat the entire sandwich, not a bite, not throw it in the car and save it for later, you have to eat it in front of them.

I thought this thread was about free gas from eating a vegan sandwich. I'm disappointed...

Punishment was the wrong word, heh. It just seems like the sandwich has negative connotations, like they're bribing you into eating one in exchange for gasoline. I wasn't aware there was some stigma or reluctance about eating vegan sandwiches. Ah well, I'm vastly over-thinking this. Nice lettuce bikinis, at any rate.

Pfft. whatever. I've eaten vegan sandwiches before. Hell, I'll wash it down with a vegan donut. Bring it. C'mere and pump gas while wearing those cute little lettuce bikinis. :D

I don't like, nor trust, PETA. It's a domestic terrorist organization. I would no more eat something they present me with, than I would eat something given to me by the KKK.
I like the taste of the divine spark far too much to eat a vegan sandwich.

Say what?!
Anyways, I like veggie burgers. I stopped eating red meat almost 3 years ago. I don't miss it at all. I surely would've jumped on that deal. Would've been a regular lunch for me.

I don't have a car, and I can get my own delicious vegan sandwiches, thank you very much. ;)
I just had one for supper tonight in fact. Mmmm, marinated tempeh. <3
