And now we bring you a public announcement from Monday: Attention. Attention. This is Monday speaking. Please refrain from spouting your profanities at me. Do not attempt physical violence against your alarm clock. The weekend is now officially closed. Please address all scowls, frowns and other unruly behavior toward something that cares. Have a nice day!
How was your weekend? I had such plans but once again same old story. Persona 3 that evil time sucking game lured me in once again. Meaning once again I spent my weekend battling shadows, grinding through floors with psychedelic themes all while trying to “steal a kiss” in a social link. I tried; I really tried to finish this game though. After 120 + hrs, I think it’s time I wrap it up. I partially succeeded this quest. I actually received the “bad” ending which I didn’t realize at first. Of course, a hint when you are feeling an ending is bittersweet after all those gaming hours…it’s probably a clue that isn’t the intended ending. Sure enough, replay where there is the so-called fork in the road of the story…a different outcome. After this though, I need a game that I can pull myself away from or at least be able to switch the disc every once I awhile. I don’t foresee playing Persona 4 for quite a while. But that was my weekend. In between the P3 marathon there were attempts to work on a paper which completed my-oh so exciting weekend.
Let the weekend stories be told. What did you do? What did YOU play?

I set up some terrariums and played a little Professor Layton. I wanted to get Rhythm Heaven and De Blob yesterday, but was surprised to find out that Best Buy closes at 7 on Sunday (I would have guessed 8).
Oh well, I'll just have to make the trip again today!
EDIT: I actually resisted the urge to play Persona 3 all weekend. I knew that once I started I would end up getting no work done. I've got all next week off for spring break, so I'll spend a ton of time with the game then!

I played GTA Chinatown Wars all weekend. I beat quite a few missions, I'm at the one for Heston where you have to rescue him. Have done a fair bit of drug dealing for cash, its actually such a good system, such a good distraction. Have done one rampage, but nothing else really. I might bother to do the dragon noodle delivery missions or the police missions. Its a very, very good game. I like the way you can lower your wanted rating by disabling cop cars. In fact, I LOVE that, all GTA games should have it.
I did buy MK vs DC, but I didnt play it. I bought it primarily for my brother anyway, MK has never really been my thing. I dont know why, I just dont enjoy the combat. Or Kombat I should say. It looks okay, pretty complicated though. When I read the user manual and saw that my arcade stick wasnt much use because you need the analog stick for 3d movement and the dpad for 2d movement, I was kinda "woah!".
And I saw Gran Torino on Saturday night - that movie rocks.

I worked my way through Frontlines: Fuel of War. I still have some achievements to mop up, but I did beat it. It wasn't too bad, though I do understand why it got passed over for other games.
Dishwasher - Talk about a kick you in the nuts game. I get my ass beat at every pass and then to top it all off, I get an achievement for 21 points. Great, now I have to get all the points to make my score end in a 0 again. It is even more grating that my score right now is 30001. grrr
As for other things this weekend, I played clean the turtle tank last night. *spoiler* Surprise ending when I plugged the filter back in and it didn't turn on.
Went climbing again yesterday. Really the only girl there had blown me off when I tried to talk to her before and I jokingly told avakus, 'That's ok, I'll wear her down.' Funny enough she is one of the few people who seems to be coming back, so maybe that will actually come true. It gave both of us a pretty good laugh. We are starting to go twice a week now, so expect these stories to show up in the weekend thread too!:o
Odd fact of the day: You can pull an ab muscle by sneezing. This fact brought to you by my morning commute, the odd pain in my stomach, and the number 7.

A little Rockband with some friends on saturday night and some Liesure Suit Larry Box Office Bust on sunday. Not too much for games this weekend.

You will need that time. I'm curious to see what the "average" game time to finish this game. I know i'm way above the average but this is one long ass game. This is what I get for not being a vet of JRPGs.

I really do like these stories. So more of them...woohoo. They are inspirational in a sense. It would be easy to just decide not to be rejected but you still go and try. I need to inject myself with more confidence like that.

Loads of gaming.
Persona 4. I completed the castle (the 1st at least, don't know if there are more) and saved Yukiko. Great bosses in this game. looks incredibly good for a PS2 title.
I received FarCry2 on Saturday, it completely surprised me. I actually thought it would be ok and good for an evening or 2 but hot damn I didn't expect a game that reminds me of GTA and FarCry rolled into one. I'm hooked, mainly because it's quite different from the usual shooter stuff, and pretty as hell.
Played some Dead Space on hard, got a bit further. Also at the last battle in TR Underworld I guess. Quit there though, as I usually do at the end. As grand as the first couple of levels were, the end was way to combat-and instant death heavy for me. More frustrating than fun.

Beat Gears of War 2 by myself, beat Gears 1 with a buddy (and did some online matches), played a tiny bit of Fallout 3, You're in the Movies, The Simpsons, more Alien Hominid HD, and today I might attempt another game like Blue Dragon. I don't know. I also put an offer on a new home and are awaiting word on rejection/acception today. Fingers crossed.

for the first time in a long time, I played nothing.
We spent the weekend going through the apartment throwing away garbage and trying to slim down what we've got...but other than that, nothing at all.

Final Fantasy XI And that's it. The short version would be that I got 2 merits (upgraded Enfeebling Magic to the third merit upgrade), leveled in a camp in Grauburg [S] on dragons for a change (poor Ninja tank died 4 times to a 1.2k damage TP move), got a Pso'xja pass solo prepping for CoP 3-5, the Diabolos fight (need a drop off level 73-75 mobs, thank you Beastmaster!), finished the last two ToAU missions that I could do solo, went up a rank in Campaign, and solo'd Black Mage for the first time (seeing Chain #2 633 Experience is something I will never get tired of).
And that probably meant absolutely nothing to 99% of the members here. :p

Spent most of the weekend catching up on grading. But when I was gaming, it was Persona 4. I made it to the last month feeling good about finishing all the social links, then realized I would be more or less one day short on the last two. I was a little pissed. I think I might be able to go back and reload each night hoping to dream about them. That might give just enough boost that I can finish them. I really hope so.
Also played a little Super Mario World on the PSP. There are some occasional oddities in the emulation which makes me itch a little bit to bust out the SNES. But I'm a little too lazy to dig it out at the moment.

I played lots and lots of Oblivion. I've joined the Dark Brotherhood (which is weird because I don't remember murdering anyone), gotten some more Mage Guild recommendations, taken care of a small mountain-lion-in-the-basement problem for the Fighter's Guild, and am now in the process of closing Anvil's Oblivion Gate so they'll send some help to poor Bruma.
I also spent most of Sunday afternoon playing Guitar Hero for the first time ever. Yay GH: Aerosmith+free guitar sale at GS! My roommate also picked up a guitar and a copy of Guitar Hero III. Rock on!
I played a little bit of Valkyrie Chronicles thanks to the heads up on the GS sale. I also completed a game called Dropping My Laptop. The great thing about that game is that I get to play the sequel called Shopping For a New Laptop: Spending Money I don't Have.

That happened to me too. I think some deaths during quests can accidentally count as murders, because up to that point I'd only been killing bad people I was supposed to kill.

I think it must have happened during a quest. Those stupid NPC's keep running in between me and my target and getting sworded for their trouble. I thought I had reloaded each time that happened, but I must have missed one.
Also, is there any way to make archery effective in this game? I love my bow, but I have to shoot things like 47 times to have any effect, and most of the time I end up finishing them off with my sword anyway.

Don't know about the archery thing. I mostly stick to magic, occasionally busting out my sword.

You didn't like the last level before the end boss? That was pure platforming gold to me. Wow, I thought that was one of the best parts of the game. And the end boss should be easy...or so I think it should be if you use a particular object you obtain. Again, that was the best part...for once I was at an end boss where I got to kick ass. This coming from a gamer who sucks ass trying to beat end bosses. This is all more fodder for Spigot to call me a bigger TR fanboy than I already am. FU Spigot ;)

GH is an awesome game. Once you get done with these...and if you aren't totally burned out...you really must track down a cheap copy of GH II. IMO, it's the best of the bunch and the most fun to play although Aerosmith was a close second.

As promised in the weekend gamer thread, I pulled my SNES out of the closet, popped in Super Mario World and hooked it up to a 27" SDTV (since my plasma is busted) for some old school gaming goodness. My friend and I played through the whole thing between Saturday night and then Sunday afternoon. All 96 exits!
Persona 3: Made some good progress in the game this weekend. I maxxed out my first two social links (I went with Magician and Chariot), got up to the 64th floor (which is as far as I can progress right now), and I'm about 10 days away from the third full moon.
Resident Evil 5: My brother in law came over and we managed to knock out another chapter. We're on 4-1 now. The co-op in this game is amazing. As has been said many times on this forum; don't play without a friend.

You make me wish I would have played FFXI with a more solo mindset. I leveled PLD and WAR (both very group-centric jobs) to 75. The problem with that is that if I went back now, I'd have a hard time playing since you need a good un-interrupted 3 hour chunk of time for a good exp party, which, as you know, with a baby in the house is a hard thing to come by. I'm half tempted to re-sub and level a BST but I dunno... so many other things to play.

I wouldn't call them great moments. :p
I'm just happy that I'm at a point in FFXI where I can jump on for 20 minutes or 3 hours (after the kids are sleeping, of course) and I can get something done and feel like I did something. It's actually going to be hard to pull myself a way now to play other games with that, though I really do need to get back to Persona 3 soon. Funny, I'm doing most of my gaming on the 360 now because of FFXI. :p

rein: I'm kind of going through the same thing, only it's called, "I think I broke my desktop. Hooray for a new computer!" though the same caveat of not having money to BUY a new desktop PC rings true.
Oh Purple One: Congrats on getting at least one ending in P3. Are you going to tackle The Answer now or was that including The Answer? I can totally sympathize with not wanting to dive into P4 right away. I was the same way once I beat P4. I really want to get back to work on P3 but I need some time away from a lot of JRPGs (on the consoles at least) for some time.
This is probably going to be the shortest list of games I played this weekend:
Chrono Trigger (DS) - I only really got to spend about 20 - 30 minutes on this late last night, but I'm working on the various endgame quests before I go and kick Lavos' spikey butt. Just finished up the Rainbow Shell quest this morning.
Fallout 3 (360) - What time I had to spend playing games this weekend was sunk into tromping around the Wasteland. I finished up at least one or two quests (The Superhuman Gambit... hee hee.) and should have finished up the Head Of State quest last night, but I seem to have run into some kind of glitch/bug/showstopper where the people I needed to talk to at the end of the quest never seemed to arrive at their intended destination. I have a save from before I finished the final part of the quest, so I'll boot it up tonight and take it for another whirl and see if I can finish things up right this time.
And that's it. I worked an odd shift this weekend (11-7 both days) and got stuck there for a few extra hours last night. At least I didn't get punched, kicked or spat upon this weekend (which is more than I can say for my Thursday shift...)

I play FFXI for 9 months on the PS2. I took a Hume White Mage to 42, Black Mage to 40, and several classes up to the mid 20's. Then my entire linkshell quit to play WoW. At that time, there was little soloing to be done, so I quit. Your posts sometimes make me wish I hadn't.
Atlantica Online: This is my MMO of choice right now. My main hit 61 this weekend, and now I'm about to kill the Minotaur King in the Cretan Labyrinth (where's David Bowie?) for both Chardin and Daedalus. There's a lot of talk in peer chat about the Exorcist quest, but I'm happy with all the mercs I have right now. My witch is almost 50, and her Meteor Strike kicks ass.
Phantasy Star Portable: I've completed a couple missions now, got my lvl 5 CAST to Ranger lvl 2, upgraded her armor, and bought a new Photon Art. Nostalgia is probably coloring my perception here, but I'm enjoying this trip through the Phantasy Star game universe on my PSP. The graphics are good, but the voice acting is still bad. I'm seriously considering killing voice all together.
Early Easter with my Nieces: We had a blast at my parent's house. We hid eggs for them at least a half dozen times, and then giggled when they "pretended" not too see the eggs that were in plain sight. We then ate too much chocolate and Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs. To prove my love for my nieces, I also sat through Beverly Hills Chihuahua. *shudder*
please tell me what happens in the end, I'm really impatient and dont want to wait for the ending.
Is the sequel any good?
I would recommend not playing it at all. Probably the least fun I have ever had. I had more fun playing Daikatana. Just started the sequel and it is looking to be a money sink but I may have come up with an alternative called Shopping For a New Netbook: Spending a Little Less Money I Don't Have.
rein: I'm kind of going through the same thing, only it's called, "I think I broke my desktop. Hooray for a new computer!" though the same caveat of not having money to BUY a new desktop PC rings true.
ARGGH! Sorry to hear. The only thing that scares me about going the netbook route isntead of a new notebook is that my desktop is and older shuttle and could probably die at any moment.
Good luck on the search for a new pc.

If that's the quest I'm thinking of, it can take a long time for the people to arrive (waiting for them to go to the Lincoln Memorial, right?). Just go do something else for a while, they'll eventually be there. Over in the Fallout thread, some people have talked about actually following them for some of the trip, though that makes it possible for them to die on the way.

The game is a bit more solo friendly, but I can do as much as I can solo because of what I leveled. Beastmaster is a solo class first and foremost, so it opens up a lot to me to do solo having it at the level cap. With Black Mage there are ways to solo effectively if you target the right mobs. Hell, most BLMs these days solo most of the way to 75, since getting a party 55+ is pretty damn tough as BLM.

Spent most of the weekend playing Street Fighter IV for the 360, with a bit of The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai mixed in.
Tried out the And Yet it Moves on PC, was impressed, but not enough to pay $15 for it. Maybe when it's a touch cheaper. Oh, and as always, some TF2 on the CoG server.

Thing is, I think I am at the last bit, but I'm not really sure. The Hammerbridge bit was pretty cool if that's what you meant, but for some reason I wasn't that into the game anymore. Like I said last time. When the emphasis became focused on grey tombs with walking skeletons I was kinda done with it already. Shame, cause I really liked Thailand, Sinking Boat and the Squid bits. It started to fall apart in Mexico though, when the blue lava came into view. It just became generic again for me. And annoying.

Sins of a Solar Empire pretty much all Saturday and Sunday. I was looking around on Impulse for the expansions for Galactic Civilizations 2 and ended up with Sins. I started around 5:30 Saturday and while dancing around celebrating that my first 100+ ship fleet managed to conquer a pirate home world I noticed the clock said 1:00. And that I was really hungry. So yeah, fun game.

Thanks to being ignored by the woman in my life, I played through and beat Fable II! In my opinion it was kind of a weak ending...I prefer games where you KNOW you're playing through the final epic fight instead of being surprised when it ends.

All in all a very satisfying weekend. :D

Some TF2 and some more Half-Life 2. I'm really enjoying my replay of Half-Life 2 but I got to the point in Nova Prospekt where you have to setup the turrets and defend for a while. It frustrated me then and it's frustrating me now. I remember doing a good strategy last time I played but damned if I can't remember what it is now. Oh well, I'll get it eventually.

I played a bit of GH: Metallica on the dying 360, tried some RE5 and got mad video corruption 3 minutes in. Sending it out in it's coffin today.
Mostly I played the Witcher, played it a ton actually. I haven't been drawn in to a world like this in a long time. I often find myself thinking what it would be like to live in that world, thinking about the people and their daily lives. The game just oozes atmosphere. Absolutely loving it so far, just started chapter 3.

I played a bit of Ninja Gaiden Sigma until I realized that the game automatically kicked me down to Ninja Dog difficulty. So much for my overinflated ego. I'm starting to read the opponents better/recognize their patterns, but I'm still fighting the camera in certain places.
I gave Far Cry 2 another whirl and then my buddy died so I uninstalled the game.
Played a bit of The Witcher which feels a lot like KOTOR which is tiring and refreshing at the same time. It plays great, but I feel like I'm just running errands for a lot of people I don't really care about. I do like that you can't just run in there swords-a-swinging because you will get your head handed to you. For example, before raiding a crypt, I realized that I wasn't going to be able to take on the amount of enemies thrown at me without making a coating for my sword specially made for killing ghouls. Feels like Monster Hunter-esque preparation for battle or something.
I got my DSi so I wanted to test out the sound and screen on a few of my DS games. Among them was Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia where I stumbled upon the last missing villager and I unlocked the second half of the game. Took down a couple bosses which basically felt like a dance that I had to learn the steps and where if I stepped on my partner's foot, he would take a sixth to a third of my life off.
Finally, Sunday night, I cracked open Dark Messiah: Might and Magic which feels awesome. The game forces you to kill enemies in an unconventional way of using the environment by kicking them into fires or randomly placed spike walls. This makes you to think on your feet, which is good, but I still need to get used to the melee combat. Too often I find my self swinging to the left or to the right of my opponent because the cone of my attack feels too narrow.

How is the rendering engine? Did you hit 30 or 60 FPS?
The rendering was amazing. Distant mountains were crisp and clear. I had the water effects maxed out! They were beautiful and didn't seem to bog things down at all. Absolutely no pop-in of nearby details.
I actually hit 80 FPS once before I realized what was happening! Maybe I should enable v-sync.

I hear if the FPS gets too high on that game, the application can "crash", sometimes injuring the user too. Or worse, the motorcycle!

Well, I had a pretty darn good weekend.
Wrestled with GameTap on Saturday morning...got disgusted so went off and played the Flock Demo (PC). Meh...didn't really like the pc controls on this thing. It was alright, but not worth a purchase in my mind.
Took a break and played some Burnout Paradise (PS3), just trucking along in this game, playing a few races here and there. Also tried the Killzone demo...which really didn't grab me. The controls are a known issue with that game.
Went into the other room to try out some Gamecube games I grabbed a while back for my Wii...then, while booting up Super Smash Bros (GC), I realized I didn't have a Gamecube memory card. I guess I've been spoiled by my PS3's virtual memory cards :(.
So, instead, I fired up My Life As A King, a game I haven't played for a few months, and I quickly lost about 3 hours in that game without even noticing...stupid addicting gameplay ;) Also threw in William's Pinball Classics(Wii)...great fun!
Playing Williams Pinball Classics got me in the mood to buy Pinball for XBox Live, so I went ahead and did that and ended up playing that for a little while even though I really suck at pinball...if comparing my score to my friend's list is any judgement.
Then...got the call to play Shadowrun (PC), so I fired that up and joined in with the folks from around here for some quick deaths...really, I'm just cannon fodder in that game ;)
I polished off the night by watching REC...pretty entertaining show :)
Sunday started with me solving some Gametap issues and being able to fire up Rogue Trooper (PC)and completing the first level. After the Turning the Spigot episode, I was intrigued by this game and pleasantly surprised.
After that, went for a long bike ride in the sun :)
Phew, good weekend!

I really do like these stories. So more of them...woohoo. They are inspirational in a sense. It would be easy to just decide not to be rejected but you still go and try. I need to inject myself with more confidence like that.
I have recently adopted the motto 'Nothing ventured, nothing gained.' It really lets me justify not caring about finding out someone is taken or isn't interested. I figure all it takes now is one 'yes' (or even a 'umm, I guess so') :o

Thats something I eventually realized was quite true.
Besides which, its how girls expect things to work. Girls (in my extremely limited experience) expect guys to let them know they like them, so that the girl in question can react. They expect us to make the first move, to be the primary mover, to make decisions etc. All this old fashioned stuff, and not applicable to every girl of course, but some of them live by it.
The best thing I ever decided to do was let this girl that I'm kind of seeing now know that I like her. We were in elementary school together, but hadnt met up in years. We met up again, got on like a house on fire, and I told her I wanted to date her. Had I not done that, I'm positive I would have become her friend and she would be telling me about other guys shes dating. Now, even though we are a few thousand miles apart, we... well we have something, I dont know exactly what it is. She might come see me in June - cant wait! Otherwise it'll be December. Problem is her university course is extremely hectic (veterinary science) so she doesnt get much free time.

Let's see:
Drakensang - I didn't get as far as I would have liked, considering the amount of time I played. Unfortunately, I had to spend a lot of time doing the save-fight-reload trick, because some of those pseudo-boss battles in the game are either stupidly easy or instant death, depending on your luck.
My World, My Way - I'm on the last area/dungeon, and strongly suspecting that my patience is going to run out before the game does. The enemies in the last two areas are brutal, and the fact that they start taking away Pout abilities from you is unfun.
Far Cry 2 - Only played an hour or so, but my word this is a fun game. If only Far Cry or either Crysis games had been this good. I'm usually not a huge fan of these sandbox game with the collect-em-all components, but this one appeals to me. I'm really liking my weapon loadout too: Mac 10, Sniper Rifle, and Crossbow Grenade. :D Whee. I'm Death-From-Really-Far-Away with a bullet hose up close.

I never played Dead Rising when it came out, and it was in my backlog, so I gave it a shot this weekend. Now I totally see what everyone was talking about with the whole time limit thing. I'm currently level 11, but I'm thinking maybe I should try to level up as much as possible and restart so I can get the cases/scoops done more easily. I've been having a bit of trouble completing my escorts because some of the survivors are too incompetent.
As for other things this weekend, I played clean the turtle tank last night. *spoiler* Surprise ending when I plugged the filter back in and it didn't turn on.
Out of curiosity, what kind of turtle do you have? A friend has a southern painted turtle, and it's adorable.

With that I would just play around a few times and do what you can. Take lots of pictures and just have fun leveling up. Later on worry about the story. I don't think I truely worked toward beating the story before I was at level 50.

I think i'm hitting the proverbial wall in Persona 3. To get the "good" ending, you need to fight your way to the top of Tarturas. I'm still have to defeat 3 shadow guardians before I even have to fight the last boss. I'm just at the burned out point of grinding. And the guardians are just a tad tedious to deal with at this point . I don't want to just take the bad ending and leave the game. I know i'll never come back to finish. Someone who has finished tell me the ending is worth another 5 hours of grinding.

Thanks for the advice, guys. Yeah, it seems like the general consensus is that I should level up a lot, then try to do the cases. Hopefully, it'll be easier to lead everyone to the security room when I'm stronger. As it is, I wish I could keep multiple parasols in my inventory so I could plow through and make a path for everyone. :p

If I remember correctly, you don't have to fight to the top before the ending question. There's a question that comes at the end of the year that determines the ending you get. If you answer one way, you jump forward a few months and the game ends. If you answer another way, you move into January. You will need to get to the top of Tartarus before the end of January, but you don't have to push before December, if I've got this right.
I've seen both endings, and they're interesting, but the good ending is better. I'd say it's worth it to push through.

Purple: Have you unlocked the special dungeon? If not....Spoiler:
There's a special dungeon you can open in late game. It's purpose is to provide an area to grind in and get some top-tier weaponry and armor. Also, in a New Game+, it holds the special boss. The critters in that dungeon are an XP Gold Mine, but are ROUGH.
What I ended up doing was grinding there for an hour or two. There's one or two critters in there that have pretty blatantly abusable weaknesses. Fight them, run from the rest. That'll let you hit level 90 or so in short order, and really, once you get Lucifer and Metatron, there really isn't any boss that can stand against you.

No I haven't. I'm on floor 244 now. I've probably missed it. To bad. I could use a special dungeon. Thanks though for the advice. I did manage to get more grinding in without making me want to walk away. The extreme amount of XP I was getting (with the help of the wand cards heaping extra xp mulitpliers) last night, made leveling up quite easy. I think i'm at level 66 now. With only 2 guardians left I should be mopping up Tarturas tonight. Now i'm hoping the end boss won't be awful and make me go back to level up.

The bonus dungeon only unlocks once you hit floor 254 (the highest you can get before the end), and if you're playing FES, you also have to have beaten The Reaper (Elizabeth request #53). It's automatically opened on a second cycle (in FES), but it sounds like you aren't heading for that.

As much as I have truly loved P3...it's obviously not a game that I could warrant a second playthrough. But i'm like that with all games. I want to play so many I just am always moving forward. Not a great philosophy...but it's mine. I really would like to see the social link of the team manager fulfilled and would be tempted to play again just for that one...but I won't.
And for Elizabeth's quests..i'm a total failure on that stuff. I focused so much on leveling up and social links...I barely kept up doing that. I can't imagine if I tried to do those quests as well. 200+ hours I would be looking at.

I have been playing the shit out of Oblivion again. I have to say, modded out this game rocks some socks.
Man, I remember running Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul and having to grind on the early dungeons constantly. Still beats vanilla though :p
My most prominent memory of playing the modded Oblivion was how freaking hard the bosses became. One boss was so powerful that I basically ran him from the end of a dungeon to the beginning hoping that a trap would eventually kill him. When even the swinging death pendulum wouldn't do him in, I lured him outside and use my water running on the large central lake until he eventually drowned (my original plan was to lure him to the main city and have a patrol of guards try to take him down). The irony was that when he drowned his body glitched and I couldn't loot his body for the all-important quest item.
Somehow the most frustrating experiences seem to stick out the most when you play games.

And as for the AA games, I loves them so and can't wait for the new one that features Myles & Gumshoe as the central characters (I can't believe I just found out about it last week!). I need to take some time in the summer and just work on the entire series from start to finish again. Don't you guys have a long weekend for Easter like we do? Take your time this weekend and demolish Tartarus FOR JUSTICE!
Where I used to work, we had GF off. It was the only place that I had ever worked that provided that option. Unless you are talking about Easter Monday...but I don't know many who are having a long weekend. As for fighting for justice...I plan on attempting to finish this off tonight. If not sometime tomorrow. And despite all the hours I've put in this game...i'm starting to be real curious what the Answer is..and why it is called that...so I might doom myself and begin playing that. But i'll certainly rotate with some other PS2 games. Or maybe actually play a PS3 game on my PS3...like Little Big Planet...

I bought Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom today from Newegg for $9.99 shipped. Also: Shadowrun 360. Combined total was 22.xx shipped. I think KUF is supposed to be "meh", but you know me. For that price I might find some fun in it.
Can't tell the girlfriend, however. Right now we're still home shopping. But I figured I'd reward myself today since my car is almost paid off. Next month I'll double up the payments and it will disappear. Finally!

Am I the only person who enjoyed vanilla Oblivion? I had a hell of a time with that game.
No, I have the 360 version, so I had to play it vanilla. Loved it.

I bought KUF for ADD a few months ago when I was doing the bargain hunting in Circuit City (RIP). It looked like a fun game...well for $10 type of fun. I'm to lazy to check to see if it supports co-op...if it does i'll stalk you to play sometime :D
And damn P3...the best two social links I find are at the end..and i'm running out of days...boo...

This is one of the more frustrating things about those games. You just have to come to terms with not finishing off all the links you want.

Do you know if there's YouTube videos out there of the different social links? I think I could live with not finishing one or two so long as I could actually see what happened in them.

Haven't looked, but I wouldn't be surprised. Even though I have yet to finish them all in one run, between the different playthroughs I've seen all of the different links as well as their variants. Otherwise I may have tried to track them down too.

I know. I can actually see the point of going through again if I had the patience. But the two links that I really wanted the "romantic" ones...damn...those I wanted to see the ending for.

I was wondering the same. I'm going to look right after I finish which should be tonight. Unfortunately...now i'm going to class :(

Or using a guide you found somewhere *cough*gamefaqs*cough* to get a schedule so you can get them all.
Did that for P4, but not P3. You'd be surprised how careful you have to be.

As tempting as it is for me to want to use a guide to max out the S. Links, part of the charm in the game is knowing that you're not going to get everything in one go. I used a guide to help steer me towards the true ending in P4 but that was about it. I know there are several links I didnt finish but I'm just going to live with that :)

I have a three-day weekend. :D
Anyone want to wager on how much gaming I'll actually get to do?

I hope you are right! I was going to game tonight, but I'm exhausted. There's always tomorrow, right?
