Ok, a great many Americans ( and Brits and hell, even Canadians ) have a rather low regard for the French. They are the butt of a lot of jokes and have a bit of a history of, um... not winning.

That said, has the US, Canada or England ever had a first lady like this???

(Jackie O doesn't come close to those few insane Americans that insist otherwise!)

Well shit. I never thought I'd get to the point where I agree with a fucking Canadian.

Hey, hey, hey. I bow to no one in my utter contempt for the French. But I don't recall ever saying they didn't have smoking-hot women. French women are proof that a diet consisting entirely of wine, a variety of cheeses, and unfiltered cigarettes does a body good.

Oh yeah, she's very nice. As Ox said, though, that's one thing the French certainly have going for them, so it isn't all that surprising. Of course, to be fair, I knew a number of people who thought Michelle Obama was right up there. Note the tense.

If I say I'd hit that would France send whatever they call their SWAT teams after me? Cause you know....I'd hit that.

Did somebody steal her boobs?

Or did she surrender them?

You only get to use so much clay... Also, according to Google Image Search, she's doing fine. :)

Then I would have made her a little shorter and given her a rack. ;)

Well, that's not an option at this time. :(

On a side note, from what I've seen, the French police are fucking crazy. I mean like bat-shit, casually carrying sub-machine guns in the street on a normal day, kinda crazy. I'm fine with police carrying sub-machine guns, but typically I only see it if some kind of shit is going down. Not, you know, just walking down the street. My step-dad also informs me (after living there) that something like half of the population is policed by the Gendarmerie, who are basically military police.

Paris has their own cops, but the rest of the country is protected by the Gendarme, and they're not military police. And I speak as someone who has Gendarme in the family.

From Wiki:

In France, the National Gendarmerie (French: Gendarmerie Nationale) is the national gendarmerie and military police force.

Less Grammar Nazisms, more Ass Comments.

Bloody fucking hell, people. A Canadian finally posts something worthwhile and you fault him for his grammar? Shit, he can type...be fucking happy!

Fair enough. Except (a) there are few things more French than criticizing someone else's grammar, and (b) if we're talking about France, we should be welcoming the Nazis with open arms.

And the one thing is commenting on the ass of another's wife!

Again, ass first.

Even a French person would probably think twice about welcoming Nazis with an open ass.. although it would give them a good excuse for all the smoking.

That's Carla Bruni, right? I actually first heard of her when I looked up some of her music, which I heard in a movie called Conversations with Other Women. I'm pretty sure she used to be a model, and she's dated Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton (and obviously the French president). She's definitely very pretty.

That all but guarantees the President of France has an STD.

A lot of countries have "armed to the teeth" police. You see it in Mexico all the time...a bunch of police in the back of a pickup truck, all armed to the teeth. Or a couple of guys scrolling down the beach in body armour, carrying assault rifles.

Aye, that's her, and I love her music. I already have a thing for French singers – which I suppose has something to do with not understanding them (unless they say, “I am an airplane,” which seems...unlikely) – but I was absolutely hooked by her breathy voice. :D
