I doubt it could be anything else. At least it isn't cold. And by not cold, I mean above freezing. ;)

The snow around here was getting pretty low, week before last, but then we got hit with a bunch that Sunday/Monday (23rd). And yesterday, a decent amount of wind and snow, enough to make the roads lousy again.

I'm ready for winter to be over.

Snowing in Vancouver...near the water it's slushy, a few blocks up the mountain and it's snowing :(

And I don't think that the Fargo-Moorhead area (http://minnesota.publicradio.org/collections/special/2009/red_river_floods/) is happy about more snowfall either...

Yeah my cousin lives in Fargo and they are really getting it bad. Apparently her best friend's house has water that has completely filled up the basement and has most of the first floor underwater at this point. Pretty nasty stuff.

This officially beats out my thunder-snow-storm experience in NM for "WTF, Weather?" moment.

I almost rode my motorcycle to work this morning. I'm looking out my office window and I can't tell whether it's raining or snowing. Probably both; "We'll soak you down and then freeze you!"

Defiant against the implications of seasons and their associated warmth, am I right?

Pffth, that's a pathetically small amount of snow...

But yeah, In regard to the major flooding in Fargo, Grand Forks got lucky to an extent, as the Red River of the North is very unusual in that it flows North - it lost alot of it's crest in Fargo where they had some levee breakage / overflow. (Grand Forks is about 70 miles directly north of Fargo, right along the ND, MN border for people who are cartographically challenged.)

I still got to help sandbag my whole weekend however :(

Hell- in 07, when I was back home still in Nebraska, we got the most snow fall we had all year was literally on the first day of spring now to my recollection.

Partly cloudy and 48 F in Boise. Looks like it will be a decent day :)

*Wonders if Minnesota gets more snow than Alaska as a whole* :p

Yup the first thing I thought when I woke up to see snow on the trees was, "OK this really isn't funny, Mother Nature."

I doubt anyone will be able to top THAT.

Hah I thought the same thing when I walked out the door this morning to scrape my windows "Fuck you mother nature!"

Well...that's a shame. It's a lovely 70'ish here in sunny Florida. I just wish I had time to go to the beach.

I've come to the conclusion that winter never ends in Minnesota, it just takes a short break from June-August.

I am firmly convinced we are not seeing global warming, rather global cooling! It's a new ice age! Stock up on heat packs and firewood right now!

I will try to remember this thought in July and August as i'm melting...;)

I'm not looking forward to that either. Summer in Kansas is hell. They might as well just build the state on the fucking sun.

We are definitely going through a climate change right now, we're seeing some of the coldest colds and hottest hots in recent history. What's debatable is whether it's a natural occurrence or human fault.

I have to agree with my Mr. Saint Cloud Twin.
