Hey, guys! Didn't know if you knew this, but the iTunes page for In-Game Chat still shows the Evil Avatar logo and the name "Evil Avatar Radio". Are you planning on changing this?

Yeah I was also looking at this earlier. Stupid iTunes...

Oh I can't stay mad at you iTunes! You make music purchases so seamless! If only you didn't suck so much at playing video.

We'd love to. Does anyone have any idea on how to go about doing that perhaps?

As far as I know it's something in the RSS feed. However I can't find the subscribe link on the IGC site to check out the XML of the feed right now :(

From what I can tell there should be a <itunes:image> tag in your feed. Point that to the image.

I've been messing with the feed and iTunes doesn't want to pick up the changes, for some reason. I plan on experimenting more with it when I have time.

I know this is off topic, but is it just me who can't find the subscribe button? I mean I already have the show subscribed, but I was thinking for new guys.

D'oh. I was only looking for it to get a peek at the raw feed to see if I could figure out why iTunes doesn't love you.

The bigger issue is that we're having to use the old evilavatarradio.com feed still for itunes, because for some reason wordpress won't include the .mp3s in the feed when it produces the igc.net RSS2 file. However, the RSS2 file that is produced by ear.com works just fine. They're being fed the exact same data, so I'm not sure why one does and the other doesn't.

That's my main headache at the moment; we can't roll over to the new feed until I figure that out.

I have a WP blog, and media files show up just fine in my feed (http://nerdflood.com/feed) - I'll look around the WP settings a bit and see if I can find something for you. It's probably just a setting somewhere.

The real issue is that they are both running off the same database. I literally did a copy-paste of the ear.com site when I made the IGC site. So, somehow, two identical files are producing two different results.

Good question. I suppose someone might have to contact Kefkataran about it?

Kef had no doing in the behind-the-scenes work of the podcast. That was all myself, agentgray, and TrackZero.

That being said... that's an interesting problem. I'll try to toy around with Wordpress myself this afternoon, and if someone doesn't have it figured out by then, I'll throw my thinking cap into the arena. :)

I have some experience with iTunes feeds and podcasts. Could you toss up a link to that RSS feed and I will look over it?

Many podcasts have changed names and changed logos while using the same RSS feed.

Thanks for the offer KG. I made some progress on it today, though. I have a new feed working with the IGC domain name, but it doesn't include any of our eps prior to the switch.

I have an idea on how to fix that however...

The podcast URL should redirect to it's new home at IGC now. The logo may update as well.
