It's awful quality YouTube video, probably taken with a nice cell phone, but this first gameplay footage of the game I'm pretty sure. Taken from GDC:

So I'm guessing you can't take down the blue shield guys without the cyclops. I can't wait for this game but something tells me I'll have to wait till early 2010.

Wow, looks excellent. Lots of enemies, almost too many. If not for the cyclops, that is.
Poor cyclops. :(

Cool. Although I don't like riding creaturesf that much. Mostly comes down to brute strength armflapping. Still, if it's once in a while it could be fun.

Riding on a creature is another way of taking away direct control in a series known for a large use of QTEs. This doesn't look interesting to me.

Yep, that's God of War alright. Looks good, but I was hoping that when he rode the cyclops towards the fire braziers and the skeletons fell into it that some fire would catch on to enemies. Too much to hope for?

Having a bunch of enemies on screen at once is impressive... having the exact same enemy repeated a bunch of times on screen at once is not impressive.

What exactly are you expecting from early footage of a game that could very well be nearly a year off? This wasn't meant for public consumption, it was being shown at GDC in a context we don't know.

Dude...you...live up to your username.
Regardless, I'm impressed at the polish of such an early build.

This brief glimpse indeed looks God of War-ish. Can't say I saw the part that made Jaffe piss his pants, but it still looks sweet.
