Two-for-one IGC available at this link (http://ingamechat.net/audio/IGC20090317-19.mp3).
We’re offering both of our most recent recordings together this week, but at the usual low price of two hours of your time. There’s some continuation between the two acts, but the combination had everything to do with our schedule, and little to do with the content. In fact, the two performances vary quite a bit in tone - as much as we could make them do without diverting the subject away from games. But games are what we like, so whether it’s high-spirits and big groups or something more subdued, we clearly have something to say on the matter.

There was a journal entry that Fish and I just read while playing co-op in 5 that seemed to pay homage to this. I think.

I was going to say, you guys weren't giving the AI for Sheva enough credit, but James ended up playing it SP anyway. In chapter 5 there is alot of those little journal things to read, but they more flesh out the back story of Resident Evil than anything else (and I wonder if RE6 will be a total reboot of the series or a chance to 'start over' with different characters and TriCell). Still not quite done, but very fun.

It dropped yesterday morning. You've been on the road, haven't you?

Yep, on the road. I'm up in North Carolina at my parents' house for the duration of spring break. I'm escaping from Alabama! Jealous?

It took a while, but eventually those segue songs clicked. Very funny!

Hey, you recorded the second half on my birthday. Aw...
If anyone is up for some Halo Wars co-op, I wouldn't mind a friend to help me knock the last chunk of the game out (assuming I'm near the end of the second act and that there are only 3 acts).
It's nice to hear that RE5 is a fun game co-op, but I doubt I'll ever bother playing it singleplayer. Unless the retail AI is a lot better than the demo AI, I'm never going to want to deal with the frustration I experienced there.

Oh, I almost forgot to say something about the mutated bat boss you guys fought. Not that it will help you much now, but he never crawled on the mines for me either. So what I did just lay them out, run down range (not too far), then wait for him to get close to the mine and shoot it. They have a pretty explosion radius. Now carry-on. :)

I had a reply here about Tenchu Wii and the ninja bampf-ing, but I was wrong so I deleted it. I didn't realize you needed a sword item carried to do the sword fight minigame (which I also almost always lost). I guess I was just usually carrying one in the few missions I played.
As for the game as a whole, I ended up sending it back after killing a couple of major targets. I was having fun, but not enough fun to play it over other unfinished games in my library.

My suspicion, Scott, is that the NES baseball game you were talking about was Baseball Stars, but I don't remember big heads in that. It definitely had the kind of over-the-top close call stuff you were talking about, though. Loved that game. Some great fake teams in that game - Tokyo Ninjas FTW. ;)
Baseball Stars 2 (which was a Neo Geo game) is on Virtual Console for Wii now, and is a very good game in the same style, if you're nostalgic for some arcade baseball action.
And now that they've finally fixed the goddamn storage problem (!!), you can actually keep some of the best stuff on the Wii - the WiiWare and Virtual Console content - ON the Wii. And play it. :D

Aren't they putting out a Baseball JRPG on the DS or something? Mmm...
And thanks for the birthday shout-out guys. I listen to the shows in chunks and that was nice :)
Nice to see that there are some fans of Phineas & Ferb on the show. I started watching when my friend recommended it and got my kids watching but now it's probably my favourite show on TV. It is, in my mind, the smartest animated show on TV, hearkening back to the golden age of Simpsons in terms of pure quality, smartness and in-jokes. Watch a few episodes and let it sink its claws into you.
To show how awesome it is, I have 4 words for you.

And then there's the feuding between Doofenshmirtz and Perry The Platypus.

Did I mention that it's done by the guys who did Rocko's Modern Life? And that the music is awesome?

But I think this is my favorite so far:

Yeah. While Squirrels In My Pants is the go-to song around our house, I think that Ain't Got Rhythm is my favourite. We watched that ep. twice in a row last night.
I would kill for a soundtrack of the show. Heck, they have it on DVD, but it's only 5 episodes. It'll have to live on my DVR in the meantime...

Great minds and all that. I went looking for a soundtrack last night. All I found was a (fairly complete) fan compilation (http://www.mediafire.com/?ycn4yerzfrx). The downside is that any overlapping dialog or sound effects are still present, but even so I think this should be fun to listen to in the car. ;)

I had found a few sites that had a few songs on them but nothing with all of the songs. I had to resort to snagging a few of the YouTube videos and putting them on my iPod.
