I'm tempted to grab Ratchet and Clank. I loved future, so if it is more of the same, I'd be pleased.

I ended up picking Wheel of Fortune up - I think it'd probably be better online or with friends, because playing with the computer this morning just wasn't fun at all as I watched it wax me on puzzles each and every round. Might be a good party game, though.

I wanted to get R&C last night but for some reason the Playstation Store was freaking out on my PS3 last night. I got a couple of the InFamous videos downloaded and then it just started locking up the store. I thought I'd broken my PS3 for a bit!

If it's stable tonight, I might try to snag it.

And I LOVE how the Prinny levels don't have any identification for what game they're for. You can puzzle it out, but there's no indication anywhere (that I've seen) that they're actually for the Prinny game.

Same here, seems to be some server issue.

I thought the R&C game was crap btw. The whole thing about R&C is upgrading/exploring. This removed that leaving you with some pretty lame platforming. But I didn't care for future much anyway as well. It all just felt like a huge step backwards compared to 2 & 3. Looked pretty, but boring and been there done that. This DLC seemed even more ancient than R&C one without all the customization. I wish Insomniac got their sparkle back instead of doing R&C 600 and Marine shooter X

The inFamous trailers didn't really sell me on the game. I wish the guy had some other powers than just zap-zap. It already looked dull after watching the trailers for a couple of minutes. Zap zap zap zap. The only one that was mildly impressive was the super powers one. Which was quite staged and had proper music.

I didn't want to say it, but I was feeling a bit the same after watching those videos. I still want to play the game but those videos were BORING.

So the consensus is the R&C game is worth a tenner?

I'd heard lots of good things about it when it came out. The only issue was the price. For $10, I can't really quibble.

Yeah, I think inFamous just dropped off my radar unless it gets some stellar reviews (or a demo I enjoy).

I also think that R&C is worth it. It was a lot of fun.

My problem with those videos is that they lack any context and just show a bunch of random gameplay clips. Almost ANY game will usually look boring if all you see is a bunch of gameplay with minimal set-up.

I'm still excited for the game but those videos didn't help stoke my enthusiasm.

Mmm. Don't know about that. But not having music, weird voices and and having the guy do zap zap zap all the time didn't help. I did like the cars flipping and the explosions though. But it seemed like I already saw all the game had to offer now. Which is not good.

If that is all the game has to offer, I'll be kind of miffed unless the game is a lot more fun to play than it is to watch (that did only amount to about 5-6 minutes of gameplay, total, so I hope we just saw a fraction of what is available).

I'm still holding my breath though. It's Sucker Punch, so it has to be good, right? They're like the Joss Whedon of gaming. I just hope this isn't their Dollhouse...

Yeah, it was totally FUBAR last night, I fell asleep on the couch trying to download something. Of course, I was falling asleep last night putting the kids to bed, I was just tired. :P

I'm tempted to pick up the R&C game but I never finish them or even come close. I love playing them but there comes a point my gaming skills are lacking and I just get stuck. To bad...$10 is a Kelegacy Bargain Basement kind of buy...

From what I hear the QUest For Booty 'game' is a pretty stripped down and relatively short experience compared to, say, any other R&C game. I actually did finish R&C Future, which I think might be a first for me in the series. I usually get right to the end boss and just stop for some reason...

I borrowed the full game as well and I'm in the middle of it trying to force myself to finish it but after playing a lot of the older Ratchets... it's really hard to get into this one since it's just more of the same but prettier.
