I'll be waiting for a sale on Alaska Air, but flights from Boise go every other hour so I'll just post here to save the thread for when i know the time.

edit:

Since I'll be bringing my daughter up to visit my parents, I'll be flying to Vancouver first so my flights won't have much to do with PAX.

However I will be taking the bus down from Vancouver (while she stays with the grandparents).

Arriving: Sept 2 9:45AM
Departing: Sept 7 8:00AM

I can chill at the airport, mooching off their free wifi so Alatheia won't have to make two trips.

It's like 20 minutes each way. Do you really want to be driving 40 minutes twice, just to pick up two people? I'm just trying to save some time and gas, especially considering that I got lost for 30 minutes last year trying to find the Grey Line bus.

I only live 5 min from the airport. Who said I'd take you downtown when picking you up first? :p

I can say, without a doubt, that I will not be getting lost at all during the trips between the airport and downtown. Here's how to get out of downtown if you're ever "lost"... Go toward the water, turn left when you get to the water, follow that street, it'll turn into a freeway after crossing a bridge, then you'll see the airport signs; easy :p

If you have the space, i'll probably be arriving at SEATAC around the same time as Rogue...maybe a bit earlier.

Speaking of flights, are their any good sites that keep track of flight sales? I'm looking at $245 round trip tickets and would really like to go about $100 less if possible.

I know a friend of mine just got one from Denver to Seattle for $159 Round Trip. Not sure if that's because Denver is a hub or not. But that sounds definitely doable. Just check out Travelocity or Orbitz.

Alaska Airlines just recently ended their 30 days of 30% off, one day per city. And I'm pretty sure Denver was one of the options, so he probably took that deal.

This site (http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/) doesn't track sales, but it does a broadranging search of all the providers. Searches are heavily customizable, and also provides codes for a travel agent to use if you go through one.

It appears my flight schedule has changed. I now leave Valdosta, GA an hour later (good thing I had a longer layover in ATL) and I get to Seattle at 5:06pm instead of 5:02pm. I'll be coming into Von's probably at about 6 or so....save some alcohol for me.

Fuck this thing is scaring me. My flight has changed again. I'll now be arriving at the airport at 5:16pm instead of 5:06....they've pushed it back almost 15 minutes. If they push it back much more I may have to ask if I can get an earlier flight out of ATL.

My Brussels-Austin flight also changed recently, in a good way.

My flight to Seattle however hasn't changed yet:

Arriving: Wednesday Sept 2nd - 6.45pm - Alaska Airlines flight 668
Leaving: Tuesday Sept 8th - 9.45am - Alaska Airlines flight 669

For anyone who hasn't purchased tickets yet, and lives at a location Alaska Air flies to, they are having a sale right now until the 30th.

I'm grabbing my tickets from Boise for 51$ each way.

I just looked at their website and the flight costs $578 without taxes. That's not a sale and Alaska Air flies in and out of Minneapolis.

Nevermind, Minneapolis isn't in the list on the sale page. Why? I don't know since they do non-stop from here to Seattle.

I'm not 100% sure on why they chose the cities they chose. I do know that where I'm at now in Alaska isn't included in the sale.

Thankfully my Boise flight will be.

Actually, I could save $100 by leaving Tuesday...

Then again, it might cost that much or more to stay another night.

::edit::
Unless there is a kind soul with an open floor on Monday night..? :D
I also need to hammer out whose space I can occupy on Wednesday night.

::edit2::
Here are the real final details for the purchased airfare:
- Arrive Wednesday 9/2 at 10:40 PM via Southwest 3612
- Depart Tuesday 9/8 at 10:20 AM via Southwest 1722
