My favorite PSU torture artist JonnyGURU (http://www.jonnyguru.com/index.php) has just ran Antec's new 750w TruePower New through it's paces and wrote a nice little review about it.

In the many forums I frequent, I sometimes see people wishing they could afford one of Antec's high end Signature units and yet not quite willing to go for one of the Truepower Trio models. Well, Antec's decided to freshen up the Truepower line once more, and they've just released the brand new Truepower New series. These are 80 Plus certified units that promise to bring the Truepower name closer in quality to the Signatures while still keeping the price affordable.

Let's find out how it went. (http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=140)

I have an Antec case (P182) and an Antec PSU (650W Signature), those people make excellent gear.

I have the P182 and while it's not quite as easy to work with as the Thermaltake or Coolermaster towers for some reason it's still one of my favorites.

I ended up going with a PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750w but I really wish I would have grabbed that Signature instead. The cables on the PC P&C or very stiff and unwieldy, mix that with the larger size of the unit itself and I can no longer use the fan in the bottom bay. I think I may look into one of these though instead of the signature and save my self some money, those things are damn expensive.

I love the PSU cage on the bottom, and the space behind the mobo tray really helps to keep the cables nice and tidy. I got the P180 when it first came out, too. Actually it was a special edition they made for http://silentpcreview.com/, which is one of my favorite review sites. It's a pricey enclosure, but worth every penny IMO.

You're saying the Signatures are pricey but you bought a PC Power & Cooling PSU?! Granted, I think their PSUs are usually top notch, but goddamn they're expensive. My Signature 650W was... $163, and they don't seem to have dropped in price very much. It's silent, the fan never ramps up except during boot.

I payed $125 for it which is a good price for a top of the line 550-600w PSU but an amazing price for a PC P&C 750w.

Okay, now that's a pretty good deal. I would have been tempted too.
