I know you've said in another thread that you're going to work on replacing the default VB colours but could I put in a respectful request for you to keep the style light and airy, as opposed to, oh say, dark and red? ;) After all, Jelsoft chose these colours to be the defaults after long experience of determining what makes a good all-round colour scheme.

I would definitely appreciate some sort of alternate color theme with white text and a black background, since I think it's a lot easier to read.

Whatever you do, please don't remove the dark text on light background option. The light on dark colorscheme was the most painful part about EA. Dark on light is proven more readable.

Lights Out! is a nice change from the default. It is easy on the eyes, and matches the top banner quite well so it looks natural on the site.

Lights out is great! The message box is a little on the bright white/grey side, but other than that it's very easy on the eyes.

Much better. I'm with DangerousDaze, jeffbax, Wraith and others on this matter.

The new color scheme is much better. The only problem I am noticing so far is with the contrast of different text relative to the background. It is difficult to tell the difference between regular text and link text. On the dark grey background, the light purple is a very subtle contrast difference to the white text.

Just my $0.02.

Eh. I didn't really care for Lights Out!

It was a bit too hard to read and the text and links didn't contrast that well with the black background. I'm all for doing something other than white, but that needed a bit of work.

I think the colors are nice but I'll echo Spigot. The borders around buttons look jagged. I'm really picky like that, though.

OMG. The complaints about the buttons are driving me up a fucking wall. Pher has stated multiple times that the buttons will be replaced and that he is working on it.

But what about the jaggy edge of the buttons in the Lights Out theme? Someone should really fix those.
