Is out on virtual console today...
I've been waiting for this for a long time. Who else is downloading?

Heh. I'm in the same boat. I love that game.

Ah the memories. I wish they would just release a complete anthology of all the games (including translated versions of the Dreamcast Trilogy) though. One can dream

This would be awesome...if I didn't own the Genesis cart already. :D
Anyone who didn't play the originals for some reason, do yourself a favor and play this.

They're too busy making terrible games with the name that have nothing to do with the originals.

I actually still have my cart as well. I just wanted to have it on VC so I don't have to dig the Genesis out of the closet if I want to boot this one up.
Great strategy RPG. It lacks some of the complexity of modern games in this genre but it more than makes up for it in charm.

Beat it about a dozen times back in the day. One of my childhood favorites.

Exactly. People sometimes look at these games now and say.."What, is that it?"
Without thinking about the fact that for when they came out, they took SRPGs to a whole new level, for me at least. Who didn't see the in-battle animations and music and say "Wow". I can still hear the SF1 battle music in my head.
Then again, no one would ever guess I'm a fan of the series...not with my av and user title. No sir. ;)
