Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time (Wii/DS) trailer

It's appalling to me to use a "(Wii/DS)" signifier for this game, as that suggests it's actually "cross-platform". What we have here in the "Pollux Engine" is the ability for Square Enix to make a game for the DS that can also be played on the Wii. Nothing more.

you know, i loved the first crystal chronicles title. it had some of the best art direction of the entire final fantasy series, an incredibly well realised world and one key thing that i believe most final fantasy titles miss, consistency from start to end. GBA requirement for multiplayer be damned, who at the time didnt have a GBA?

few gaming moments in my life have been as charming as playing FF:CC.

i am looking forward to this title for the sole fact that i can play it with the mrs.

Each version (Wii and DS) is its own separate game that can connect to the same online world, ala Phantasy Star Online. And when I say "separate", I mean in the fact that they are on different platforms. They are, essentially, the exact same game, whether you are playing it on the Wii or the DS.

The Wii version of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time has a special feature or I should say a special trailer. Pick up Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time for the Wii and you can watch a new trailer of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. Square Enix has not announced a release date for the elusive installment in the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series which was officially unveiled with a teaser video almost three years ago.

Along with this news Square Enix sent out some screen shots, old screen shots, of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers to remind us what the game looks like. Both the Wii and DS version also come with a Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Sound Selection, a CD with four tracks including the main theme of the series.
