I bought it and I've played just a tiny bit of it.
It really feels good to be back, honestly. And during the intro it felt like coming back to a new season of my favorite TV show or something. Especially after the cliff hanger that was left to us on the game itself.
Anyone else pick this up?

I'm kind of kicking myself because I just traded in my copy of PoP (for $40 credit, which is nothing to sneeze at these days) on the weekend. Crap. I guess I'll just rent PoP and take the Epilogue for a spin if it's up to snuff.
I still hope it's just one long canyon where the Prince has to listen to Elika yell at him for 45 minutes.

I traded my copy in.
Tbh I doubt I'd pick this up. Is it a epiloge for I or for the sequel though?

I just beat PoP yesterday. I'm still kind of digesting the ending.

As we've discussed, I very much WANT to, but I have the PC version of the game. Frown.
Eventually maybe I'll Gamefly the 360 version, beat it again, and download the DLC, but right now I just can't be bothered to play through it twice.

I want to know if the gameplay is worth coming back for or if I could just youtube most of the conversations and finale.

I just finished it, took me a few hours. It's just as good as the full game, but it felt like they have made it a litte bit more difficult.

Okay, after playing a good chunk, I think I can say that if you enjoyed the full game, this is totally worth it. And if you wanted harder, then damn, they gave it to you. It's nice to see that even with the gameplay elements that they designed into the game in place, they can still make sections balls hard (there are some long sections that I've failed at the very end... multiple times).
I'm also enjoying the story, and the way they allude to where the story's going in regards to Elika's powers. It doesn't feel like some tacked-on story to explain away a plot hole so there can be more game at all; it's a very natural evolution. Kudos to the writing team, as well; I really doubt that anyone who doesn't play this will feel like there was a missing story chapter when playing the (inevitable) sequel.
Edit: Sigh. I missed one of those frescoes, so now I need to play again. Hopefully it was one of the first ones.
